Happy Thanksgiving to you all.  Thanksgiving is a little depressing for me this year.  It's just my Mom and me. (My sister passed away May 1.)  We're having a turkey breast instead of the whole bird.

My mom passed away this morning.  She was not only my mom, but a friend. 

Wife seems to have recovered. Although not confirmed by tests (she has really bad gag reflexes so couldn't do the test properly), doctor's told her she certainly had it. Chances are that both myself and daughter had it as well but didn't come down with any symptoms.

I'm not 100% but I'm getting there. I'd say I am 76-79%.

 

Last night over a period of some hours, I felt my hearing come back.

 

Background Tinnitus remains, much much better and far more bearable than before.

 

I have a congested, blocked feeling in my throat. This is producing slightly yellow sputum.

 

All other symptoms are either minimal or have resolved completely.

Complete rest has made me feel a *little better, and although I might have a long way back, I am buoyed by your thoughts kind wishes and I am determined to give it my very best shot. 

Once again I'd like to remind you all to take this thing seriously as initially I thought it was going to be a mild case of flu, and maybe for 80% that is the case, I'd estimate I am in the last 15-10%.

 

I'm taking a good shoeing, but I am hopeful, and I am feeling more positive as a direct results of the nice things you, people I don't even know have said.
