I couldn't believe how small the circuit board was... Also, it looks like the joysticks aren't the standard 'digital' ones... We have +5v, GND, D0, SCK, and OUT The two buttons look like standard digital inputs, though

Just as a side note, 'Sugar Walls' was written by Prince under a pseudonym. -
It kind of happened fast; I am not sure if it was right at the point where I was caught (with all of the monsters on the screen), or just before the dying sequence (I am definite that it was before the dying sequence). I'll have to try it again.

Hello all: I made an EPROM of this and tried it - Unfortunately, the screen jumped once - right as I was caught. I also did notice the occasional quick appearance of 'ghost dots'. IMHO, none of this is a big deal. It doesn't take away from the gameplay whatsoever - again, IMHO. Nukey, any time you need me to burn an eprom for you, just let me know. You have done (and continue to do) excellent work. Bob

Hi Albert - may I bother you to e-mail them to me as well? Thanks

I am using Mess 0.85, and everything seems to work ok (the demo mode, the title screen and the gameplay itself). Only two things I noticed: 1) It plays *very* fast (this was brought up before) 2) Collision detection is very strict (One of the hotdogs barely touched my foot and I died) Kenfused, you do awesome work! Any chance of your next project creating a standard Pac-Man from the existing Ms. Pac on the 7800?

So THAT'S what you've been doing since you left KISS (again) Gene and Paul

Hi Sku_u I already tried the Radio Shack cases with the keypad - although they might be great for the 'keypad' part, they have three extra keys that (normally) would have been perfect for the Start, Pause, and Reset... But alas, Atari did things differently, and the way the matrix for those three keys is laid out makes it impossible (unless you turned the keypad sideways) I'll figure something out...

I've been toying with the idea of taking the redemption and putting it in a new case; one that also will have a keypad and Start, Pause, and Reset in it as well. It will remove the need for the original controller to be connected... The only thing that's putting me off is that I want to try and make the original overlays still fit (maybe take a broken controller ?) Don't know. Anyway, it's just an idea... for the Redemption II

I have the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (sp?) manual if it needs to be scanned.

How long shoud I wait b4 reporting a problem to ebay/paypal?
PacManPlus replied to PacManPlus's topic in Auction Central
I finally got an answer from him... I sent an e-mail last night practically begging him to answer it: So what was so hard about that? A simple one line e-mail to put someone's mind at ease. Thanks for backing me up, everybody. -
How long shoud I wait b4 reporting a problem to ebay/paypal?
PacManPlus replied to PacManPlus's topic in Auction Central
I was just thinking that, too... Thanks again CPUWIZ... It's funny... Wherever your mindset is coming from determines how you handle a situation... In other words, had I heard from this seller saying something like 'I got your payment, and I will send it out as soon as I can', my first thought (after getting this package) would probably have been that it was sent in two boxes. But being that I was afraid of having issues with this seller because I did not hear from him, my first thought was that he scammed me. Bob -

ALSO: There is NO WAY that 148 carts could have fit in the box that he sent... I noticed it was a bit small, and everything was thrown in, with some paper on top. (Also, there were supposed to be two consoles in it). I am so mad right now I will be sending an e-mail out when I get home from work, and see if he answers this one. If not, I am going to try and contact PayPal and eBay. -

PacManPlus replied to PacManPlus's topic in Auction Central
Son of a *&%$#$* I received the package today (regular parcel post). Torn box, and only 35 Carts in it! (Along with the joysticks, paddles, and console). There were supposed to be 148 carts! I'm guessing he's going to say that it happened in the mail. DO NOT buy anything from this seller! ... I'm figuring out what my next move should be. Bob -

Thanks Everyone: I'll see what happens this week. Hopefully I'll hear from this person. @Lost Monkey: I am not using any of those; I have Optimum On-Line with Outlook as my mail client. Thanks for the input, though! Bob -
Thanks CPUWIZ I nabbed it

Thanks UK WOMBLE also for the advice. I'm sorry you got burned I see what happens within this next week. I've noticed that a few other transactions of his have ended after mine, and they have already received their items. Although I understand that shipping could take a little time, it's more of the fact that I've heard NOTHING from this seller. How long does it take to send a sigle e-mail? Thanks guys.
