  1. WOW! That Hanglyman label is awesome! Heluva lot better than mine... I Think I'm replacing my label with that one, if that's ok...
  2. Can I assume by that post that you got it?
  3. I've dealt with them many times over, and they are very reliable. A little on the expensive side, but reliable.
  4. I'm pretty sure it was put in a standard Pac-Man cabinet ; I don't think any differences were made to the marquee, bezel, etc...
  5. Right here on AtariAge! http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/Atar...l?SystemID=2600
  6. Two more (at least they are smaller):
  7. Side note: I really have to figure out the size of these pictures before I post them; they didn't look that big when I captured them
  8. I've been doing it in MS Publisher (and I've had quite a few bad labels) I'm more for authenticity: (Please don't mind that the pics don't match the titles wihch don't match the product numbers; they're only place holders)
  9. I should say *like* the way Arkanoid does (because there is no steerable, rotate or refill options in Arkanoid)
  10. It's too bad there isn't a way to have bricks 'drop' when hit, so that when the player catches them, it turns on and off the steerable, catch, double, rotate, refill, and breakthrough options al la Arkanoid
  11. Thanks Nukey - very interesting... I love weird stuff like this
  12. I've read somewhere that the level select screen still has the other rooms and the bat, dragons, etc. but you just cannot reach them (I assume because all pointers out of that screen point to itself). I've thought since reading that, that it would be cool just to make the bottom exit go back into the kingdom... sort of like a 'preview' of the level. Has anyone done this?
  13. I have the paddle one, and I'm actually not happy with it. It doesn't move the 'player' smoothly. For instance, if you turn the paddle very slow, the player on the screen sorta 'jumps' in small intervals; not very good for precise movement.
  14. I have a funny feeling those controllers aren't removable ...
  15. From Atari's Website: http://www.atari.com/us/games/atari_flashb...k/7800#overview
  16. I actually attempted it, but it didn't work for me I didn't feel like persuring it much beyond my initial attempt.
  17. I picked one up as well, and I love it. The picture is almost as clear as an emulator on a PC (at least on my TV). The colors are slightly washed out, but I can live with it. Absolutely get one.
  18. I just tried it, and the maze actually stays dark if you eat the fruit while the maze is dark. I would not have guessed that but that's what happened.
  19. Great Work Nukey! Looks great Now, the only two things left that I see (I know, I said I'd shut up before) is: (BTW these might be knit-picking, so I apologize in advance for this) 1) In 'normal speed' mode, the player is supposed to take corners *slightly* faster than the monsters. So the player can outrun the monsters if going around many corners. I can see this one being a real pain in the a**, so it might not be doable. 2) Again in 'normal speed' mode, once the player reaches the 9th key, all four monsters are slightly faster than the player when *not* eating dots. I promise - this is it.
  20. Very Cool Nukey One final thing before I shut up... In Pac-Man Plus, the fruit will always turn all four monsters blue and never make the maze disappear. It doesn't have the same effects as the power pellets in that respect. The monsters are the only things that disappear (or no color) from the fruit when it is eaten. Is that possible here?
  21. Hi Nukey I had something happen to me on two different emulators... being that nobody else brought it up I thought it might have been what I was playing it on... Starting the first board on Hack'Em (Blue) - both difficulty switches set to 'b' - when I ate the fruit, I stopped dead. One time I was able to eventually move again, another time I wasn't (probably because the monster got to me before I could). I can get it to happen almost every time. As soon as you load the rom, start a game without changing any levels/game type. It should happen the first time you eat a fruit. Hope this helps
