Yes, thank you Al

First post updated.

BTW, Pokey is at $450 in this one for Pokey sound. (Thanks for reminding me Trebor!)

One of the things I was working on a while back when I was doing the Pac-Man / Ms. Pac-Man 320 mode games, was Pac-Man Plus 320. I don't think I ever posted it, so here it is. Some things to note: - Inky is teal/green because he shares the maze color - When the monsters turn 'invisible' you can still 'see' them when they are over dots, because transparency is turned off. - The difficulty switch still changes the maze (Pac-Man / Puck-Man) If I did already post this, I apologize. I was going to try and reverse-engineer the files at some point using the known banking schemes... But I have a feeling that will be a LARGE undertaking... I'm curious to look at the hex dump of the banking files though.

Thanks, Al. Ugh. Now I remember why I stopped making carts myself. God, I hate myself.

Liquid tape... now that's an awesome idea. Looks like I missed covering the windows on some of these Damn. I don't know where my mind is lately. I'm starting to see labels lifting off of the carts. I'm not happy about that. The blank labels I have are quite a few years old... Does the adhesive on labels dry up over time? If so, I probably should dump the rest of the ones I have and buy new ones.

This game does not use Pokey.

Unfortunately, since the change over, I cannot edit the first post any more

Looking forward to seeing this. I've yet to see any advantages of using 320C or 320D

Initial Post updated, Thanks!

... As you know, that can happen on a real table as well (maybe not so much the 'bouncing' part, but about the ball getting stuck somewhere). As long as 'bumping' the table moves it (as it would in the real world), it's all good.

Thanks, guys I appreciate all of the kind words.

7800 Labels, part numbers, etc. (idea from the 2600 'Galaga' thread)
PacManPlus replied to PacManPlus's topic in Atari 7800
I just completed 'reassigning' my label files to reflect the new numbers. -
Thank you. I have to say again, if it weren't for Kurt doing all of the Physics in the pinball section, this game would probably not have made it to completion. I *still* don't understand how it works. I do know this though; I am used to checking for tiles (the pinball field) under sprites (the ball) and acting on it accordingly... Which is what I did with Crazy Brix. (There's a reason there are no curves in that game). He didn't do it that way. He checked screen positions and velocity and was able to act on it. (That's the part I'm stuck on). So if the screen was void of tiles, the pinball section would still 'act' the same with regards to ball movement. ...so again, thank you Kurt. ...and thank you everyone else who contributed ideas, graphical and otherwise, to this game. EDIT: BTW, all games have been shipped out.

Ok, this is where my 'literal' sense of humor puts bad pictures in my head. ew.

You're one of the two people on the list...

Looking for ideas about the player's shot in Defender...
PacManPlus replied to PacManPlus's topic in Atari 7800 Programming
That looks good and may work... I just need to figure out what to do with the terrain, and the stars. I can't put another layer of tiles, because more often than not there will be other enemies, maybe a few of their shots, etc... I'll see. Thanks guys -
The people who paid before Friday already went out.

Walter and I straightened it out, all is good.
-
Both of you please feel better. mksmith, is there any way I can help?

7800 Labels, part numbers, etc. (idea from the 2600 'Galaga' thread)
PacManPlus replied to PacManPlus's topic in Atari 7800
Thank guys @Albert - thanks for replying, I like your ideas @Shawn - good idea, Maybe even shorten it to 'H' and 'R', so there can still be 99 entries for each (keeping the '3 digit' scheme) @Allan - I see what you did there... @sramirez2008,DrVenkman - I remain hopeful... @toiletunes - those were more of an experiment... They were never really truly released, as they were never finished to my liking. Same goes for Ms. Pac-Man Twin. -

Thanks, guys. I'm getting close to having released 1/2 the number of retail releases... I feel the need to hit that number. -
