  1. Looks good? It looks awesome! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To quote Albert from another thread, "For the record, main labels are 2 3/4" in width and 3 3/8" in height (more or less). End labels are 2 3/4" wide and 9/16" tall." HTH
  2. Glad to see that wonderful work with the labels
  3. Just for the record, HOM also works with TI99/4a images, Atari 5200, and Atari 7800 images! I've played with MunchMan and a few others
  4. Went over to my friend's house (he just moved in). We went down in his basement and he had a boxed 2600 with 28 boxed games! I asked him if he was doing anything with it and he said I could take it! The 2600 box is in pretty good condition, although there were no controllers Just the unit and a power supply. The game boxed range from unopened to damaged. Pretty cool The games were (mostly commons, but some cool finds): Ice Hockey Street Racer Atlantis (Multi-Lingual text label) Pac-Man Kaboom Video Pinball 51 BlackJack (with Gatefold box) Asteroids StarMaster Super Challenge Baseball (Unopened) Demon Attack Circus Atari Night Driver Trick Shot Raiders Of The Lost Ark Golf Dragonfire Freeway Adventure Combat Space Invaders Haunted House 41 Surround (with Gatefold box) Missile Command Football Flag Capture Superman Bowling I'm a little psyched about the gatefold boxes. I have to find a good place for them now
  5. ?Thank you! I think I am going to do that - it's my next attempt (I also want to try to figure out where the maze is stored...)
  6. IMHO, this was something that was begging to be done - I replaced the characters in Alien with Pac-Man (another indication of what could have been...) This one was a pain; the graphics were actually in two different places, and it looks like they were offset 1 pixel from each other... weird. Anywho - tell me what you think... al2.zip
  7. Hey Cousin Vinnie - That is a very sweet story! I would like to help; I have doubles of Pole Position II, Galaga, and Xevious that I would be willing to donate as well. If you think that's a good idea, PM me and let me know where to send them...
  8. I have a text label adventure I am willing to part with (I have a picture label as well that I like better) Just tell me where to send it (you can Private Message me if you want) and it will get there
  9. I wish everyone here and their families a happy and healthy New Year! Take Care
  10. Thanks for the compliments guys! Al: Voltman3 did the trackball mod originally and I had actually used the one in the picture for it, until I had the idea of hard-wiring the PC keypad into the 5200 keypad (the arrow keys are the joystick). Now I can use it for emulation! The only button that does not work (because of the tracings of the original keypad) is Pause - only one of the most important keys Also, that machine does have MAME in it (the 'ARCADE' in the title on the unit). I guess I should have wrote MAME instead of ARCADE - it would have made more sense Inky: I could never mass produce it, I unfortunately don't have the time, or enough broken 5200s. (It took me about a month to do that one). But I *could* theoretically answer questions for someone who wants to make one themselves...
  11. I was looking at the 10 in 1 I had bought, and I thought, "these would make great joysticks for the 7800 (with the two buttons in front)..." So I called them, asking if they would sell me and non-functioning units (thinking I would re-wire them). They told me no, they are not allowed to sell them. Why would that be? They would be making money on items that don't work... I don't get it
  12. I actually removed the original stripe, and printed another one on glossy full sheet labels
  13. Thanks for the tip Raindog - Ahhhh - but you cannot use the 2880dpi capability of the printer if you do not use glossy paper to begin with... There lies the problem... BTW - excellent hack! - someday I'll try to hack Jr. Pac-Man into 'Hangly Man' or Ms. PacMan, so the monsters' eyes follow the direction of movement... unless you want to give it a try (hint, hint)
  14. Hello All: Thanks for the compliments Cupcakus / CPUWIZ: No, I could never draw that well - yes, I just took the image from the box art (isn't that what Atari did?) Tempest / Happy_Dude: There is no scan of the Mini-Golf Picture label here, and I had never seen one in the wild (in my searches through e-bay) - it's too bad someone with an actual picture label can't add it to the collection here... Thanks for the correction... Moycon: It took me a long time to find full sheet glossy labels, but I finally found them! www.onlinelabels.com type OL175WG Happy_Dude: All of the text label carts I have are commons - in fact I believe the least common of the carts I have are the two in the picture. I wouldn't touch a '5' or above... I know better than that I thought I read somewhere that Miniature Golf was only released for a short period of time (something like a year or two), because it did so poorly... Am I correct on this? thanks again
  15. MS Publisher is a great product Thanks for the compliments (I hope this pic isn't too big - if it is I'm sorry; let me know and I'll remove it)
  16. Sorry it took me so long to put the pics, but here is the controller (with the PS2 keyboard port shown) and the top of the multi-console
  17. Just got my Arcade Series (all four, if you count Berzerk VE!) They look awesome! Thanks, Al & Al, you guys are the absolute *best*
  18. Well, me being the OCD sufferer that I am, wanted to make all of my Atari Carts look the same (Picture Label). I noticed that Miniature Golf was never released as a Picture Label (at least I haven't seen it) - so I decided to make my own: I think I may make the rest of my text label carts into Picture Labels, so they all match! (The only problem is, the little time that I have, I can only do one a week.) These two were originally text labels - what do you think (sorry about the blurry pic...)
  19. I just ordered mine! I't sure looks good from the Descriptions/Screenshots! I'll let you know once I receive it
  20. Just curious... Your 'brainssss' reference - is that from a horror movie (I can't remember the name of it) where the antagonist says, "I can smell your brainssss....." ? (Damn, I wish I can remember the name of that one...) Thanks
  21. So do we have to make a map for this one as well???? I also keep getting stuck in the dark mazes, and I keep getting boxed into a corner by the dragons/robots (and unlike the original Adventure, there's no way out) evil game I have to stop playing it at work...
  22. PacManPlus
