I'd love to see Leander ported over to the Jag... plus there was a PD game on the ST called Droid (just Droid, not Floyd the Droid) that I used to love playing... that would be awesome.. Or Duck Dash

Hello all, Before delving into the nightmare known as eBay, I thought I would post a small list of things I am looking for... I don't know if I'll have any luck but meh, it's worth a shot... This list is in no particular order, and i'm in no massive rush to buy them.. obviously I'd like them to be working and in decent shape... 1 - Atari STE (1 meg)... monitor not required... - PENDING 2 - Not a system (obviously), and kind of a long shot, but i'm also looking for an empty Tempest 2000 (Jag) box. Manual / inserts not that important, it's the only cart only Jag game I have and it looks naked. If anyone can help I would love to hear from you, just let me know what you have and how much you want for it Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VGA cable for Atari STF needed :(
spacemanrocks replied to spacemanrocks's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Also should probably mention i'm in the USA (Florida) -
Hi everyone, As some of you may know, my Atari STF looks to be in dire need of some TLC. Originally, my SC1224 died. Not thinking too much of it, the Atari STF was put away for a while. Well, after bringing the old girl out of it's extended vacation, i've come to the conclusion that she may have died in her sleep. Obviously with the monitor missing I have no way to tell fro sure, but powering the STF on gives me a solid green power light (good), a solid orange floppy light (being solid lit probably isn't good especially as I haven't opened it since the last time I used it), and no noise at all from the floppy drive (definitely not good). Well, to get to the point - I need a cable to at least see what is going on with the STF - any bombs, if the desktop is even coming up etc. Has anybody got a DIN to VGA cable that they are willing to sell, or even better, one they can lend me for a few days so I can see if my STF can even be salvaged? Money is VERY tight right now given my wife's work situation and our new born, so having money to drop on a switchable VGA cable or even a replacement ST is kinda out of the question.... just want to know what's wrong with the STF. This is actually very sad!!!!!

Atari 1040STF question... very confused!
spacemanrocks replied to spacemanrocks's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Yeah i'm in the US, SCART unfortunately is not an option... being originally from the UK, I miss SCART I have no idea how to make cables, and have zero soldering skills. Of course no one around me has even HEARD of an Atari ST, which means borrowing a RGB to VGA cable is also out of the question. I think I might have access to several multisync monitors at work (if I can find them), but the cost of the cable, along with the possibility that the STF is broken (and also now that I see it has no activity), means i'll just have to consider this a loss Thanks for your help, everyone... it is much appreciated. -
Atari 1040STF question... very confused!
spacemanrocks replied to spacemanrocks's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Well, nevermind I guess, I have a feeling my ST has issues. I can't verify anything as I don't have a monitor obviously, but when I switch it on the drive light stays solid, even 15 minutes after power on. With a disk in the drive it sounds like it is trying to read it for the first few seconds, then no other activity and the light stays solid orange still. This is highly upsetting -
Atari 1040STF question... very confused!
spacemanrocks replied to spacemanrocks's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
This will probably sound like begging (and it kinda is), but does anyone have one of these cables they are willing to sell? The cost of the cable plus the cost of one of the compatible monitors is going to push me over $100, which is a bit of a gamble for me as I'm not even 100% sure my STF still even works :S -

I'm also looking at the thread by Kremlar below this and the same model ST and cable are mentioned, but i'm still not 100% sure it will work - especially for both video and audio -
Hi all, Quick question... I have an Atari 1040 STF. My last SC1224 finally died, and I really don't want to lose my STF. If I buy this cable... http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/monadapt.htm ... can I use my STF with one of the MultiSync monitors mentioned in several threads here? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an Atari STE. I have a 1040STF, which is in great condition, however my last Atari monitor stopped working and I would love to re-live my childhood on the TV from now on After 1 monitor breaking down and another being damaged during my last move, it's time to just go with the STE! If anybody has an STE that works and is in decent condition, please let me know... My wife and I just had our first child, so money isn't exactly filling the house, but I do have some older game consoles I can trade too. Thanks for your time!!!!
