Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, my Atari STF looks to be in dire need of some TLC. Originally, my SC1224 died. Not thinking too much of it, the Atari STF was put away for a while. Well, after bringing the old girl out of it's extended vacation, i've come to the conclusion that she may have died in her sleep.
Obviously with the monitor missing I have no way to tell fro sure, but powering the STF on gives me a solid green power light (good), a solid orange floppy light (being solid lit probably isn't good especially as I haven't opened it since the last time I used it), and no noise at all from the floppy drive (definitely not good).
Well, to get to the point - I need a cable to at least see what is going on with the STF - any bombs, if the desktop is even coming up etc. Has anybody got a DIN to VGA cable that they are willing to sell, or even better, one they can lend me for a few days so I can see if my STF can even be salvaged? Money is VERY tight right now given my wife's work situation and our new born, so having money to drop on a switchable VGA cable or even a replacement ST is kinda out of the question.... just want to know what's wrong with the STF.
This is actually very sad!!!!!
