  11. I am offering up to any serious 2600 collector my only GAMMA-ATTACK assembly source code listing. This was printed in 1982 on a ASR33 TeleType hooked to my Apple II Plus development system. It is yellowed and showing 26+ years of age. (Photo attached.) This is my history & shows how hard it was to develop a game back then. I'm asking $6000.00 for it. Please contact me thru PM with any serious offers. and Happy Holidays to All :)
  12. Apollo boards and EPROMS came from JAMECO in 1983, have attached JAMECO flyer I found in my documents. my production run switched over to these boards in early 1983. These parts and the one 1983 test programmed EPROM have been in my possesion since 1983. These parts have nothing to do with H-BOMB, The 1983 test EPROM(my last EPROM from the 1983 production run) was soldered in this year. This is still an original, from GAMMATIOM by me documented and signed by me with all original 1983 parts. bob e
  13. If that was true, which its not, the wine is still not from the same bottling. If carts like this are gonna be taken as legit I got 100 label-less versions of the Wizard games to sell at full price. ...Except you aren't the original programmer or manufacturer It is a bit different in my opinion. Yes it is different. I am the bottler and this came from my vineyard in the same year and it is in a better bottle than my first cartridges. My dad did a lot of ships in a bottle. Is it time for a cartridge in a bottle?
  14. Ya right It's hard to infinge on a copyright that didn't even exist at the time. And why is it agian you never got a copyright for this game 25 years ago?? Bob E you wanna let the folks know what the date was and who you bought the eproms from cause insiders already know the answer to this question and it's gonna be amusing to see how you navigate this question. P.S. I'm down to my last apollo board untill I get my next one too!! This is bullshit, I Guarantee that EPROM is 25+ years old. Do u see the type and 1979 copyright on it. My Gammation label shows the age and I bet will not come off because the glue has aged. I Guarantee this catridge is assembled with my 1982-83 parts. I have only bought EPROMS from JAMECO & a few 27256's from Midwest Surplus & PCB's from CPUWIZ for my re-release cartridges which I am producing now & being sold on EBAY & my Web site . SO WHAT!!!! BIG SECRET A US copyright exists at the time of creation. Section 106 of the 1976 Copyright Act : "A work that was created (fixed in tangible form for the first time) on or after January 1, 1978, is automatically protected from the moment of its creation and is ordinarily given a term enduring for the author’s life plus an additional 70 years after the author’s death." PS: I am 62 still alive & loving it. bob e
  15. OK, gotcha. OK, so why would the original programmer need a repro if he already had a cart? Bingo...the $64,000 question....... Why did I buy it, No one sent me a copy for my approval. I wanted to see one in person to see if there was any infingement of my trademark which I have registered. Copyright number TX0006994625 or search on "esken". Used LegalZoom it was received 3/18/2008. I submitted sourcecode listing and screen pictures. The code & graphics/game screens are copyrighted. This means it is registered, but in reality it is copyrighted from the date I created & I displayed on the 1982 version the copyright symbol name & date. I did have the code in the the final test rom to disassemble and compare to my development listings. This proves I had the code / EPROM before 3/18/08. A copyright is granted/registered upon receipt at the Copyright Office. It takes a 1 to 2 years for it to be documented and the requestor to get an official document & show up in the online database. There is no big conspiracy here. bob e
  16. I give my word these are all parts from my 1982-83 stock. The EPROM was programmed as my last test cartridge in 1983. I then soldered it into my last APOLLO cartridge. bob e
  17. Be real careful on this one folks, I can't say much more about it but when it all comes out in the wash (and it will) your gonna be shocked and disheartened. I think you just opened a can or worms Shawn. My intuitive mind is going at 100 MPH on this one. And many questions are coming to formulation. Such as question number 1) Why is the person who agreed to make 100 Repro copies of Gammation with Phantom saying this? Question 2)Is the words Shocked, and Disheartened words to imply this whole game is a fake from day 1? Question 3)If this is a fake, than does that make it a homebrew instead of an actual game? Question 4)Shawn has the knowledge to make a homebrew, was he involved with the homebrew if it is a homebrew in any way? In this instance I really hope my powers of intuition are Way, Way off. What is the problem here???? I started a company GAMMATION in 1981-82 making rapid fire adapters for the 2600 & then later for the Colecovision. I payed good money advertising them and one ad with the GAMMA-ATTACK in "Electronic Games" & other gamer pubs. I came across CommVid ad for the magic cartridge, bought it and spent a year making the GAMMA-ATTACK game based on it's info. I found out last year somebody found one of my 1983 sold cartridges, started making repros, called me a fake, pushed a BIN out there without having the rights. A year later, My copyright has been U.S. registered, finally, My trademark has been U.S. registered , I have incorporated as a LLC, and you are implying that I'm trying to sell a fake?
  18. Here is the guts. I blocked out the GA3 P/N. Only people with a real first run cartridge will know this number. As you can see this is a later one in the run. I started using APOLLO PCBs at the end of the run because they already had the 7404 onboard. This was better than my earlier cartridges which had to have the 7404 added.
  19. It's on a 4k atari board with an eprom and an inverter attached to it. Same goes for the one you have. This one isn't. really? I was sure from the pics posted on the gammation site that it was hooked up with an inverter. The pic with the board & 7404 wire wrap socket was my test setup to verify the burned final code works in the console. Not sure that I should post the inside. Anybody could then make a fake.
  20. The 'Wiz is right, as usual. That board is GA3. The released carts were GA4. So that's his 'test'board. That cart in the pic is complete and not made up of the parts in that photo You do realize the picture of the cart he has up for auction is the same exact picture on his site, only with the background edited out? I want everyone to take a closer look at both pictures. All the smudges are the same, all the scratches on the cart are the same, and sticker, and coin are positioned exactly the same. It is the same exact picture. If this seller is selling a Gammation cart other than the one pictured on his website, than for whatever reason he has not taken a picture of that cart, and shown it. I really don't get why the seller would not do that. Were talking about a cart worth thousands of dollars, not $5. Glad you cought that also Homer! Not sure I understand, I only have one cart and used the same pic . I was busy so it was quicker to crop and put in the listing
  21. I have had to relist my last original 1983 GAMMA-ATTACK cartridge on EBAY again. It is not a reproduction. If any serious collector wants it please bid or BUY NOW !!! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220525831583 I have other GAMMA-ATTACK items up for bid, also. HAPPPPPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALLL!!!!!! bob e
  22. I have put my last Gamma-Attack cartridge from the 1983 run up on EBAY. I have also added that I (the original programmer) will sign the cartridge and instruction sheet. This is great for some who collects the rarest of rare. Would like to clear this, before I begin selling signed repro's and new games. Gamecrawler
  23. Holy shit this photo is dead sexy. Wanna sell me those holo labels....lol... I would, but they r the ones left over from the 1983 run. Am thinking of a 2009 re-release with the planned 1983 labels & maybe box art that never went into production. Need PCBs and carts. Is PixelPast still selling PCBs? Can't get an AtariAge page link from the PixelPast site to purchase any. You would be much better off to use these original labels if you make more carts trust me on that one. Everyone would want the 1983 labels, not new ones from 2009. Use the same shells, same brand of eproms and hell even use pacman boards like you did for the other cart(s) back in the day. Keeps it more authentic and inline with the original product IMO. yep, make them indistinguishable from your 1983 run Thanks, maybe both, I don't know the community, what price would be right? Is there enough of a demand for this to make it worth my time? I'm 62 now.
