  1. Whoops, Atari 2660 stuff, now that definitely is rare and bizarre; I'll let you know when I find one of those
  2. Dino, Congrats on winning the game! I am very happy for you; I know the feeling when you find/win something special. Can you guys tell me if anyone else has one of these? You are lucky I did not have the cash at the time Of course, the seller may not have shipped to Canada being as it was located in Australia; although, most Aussies I have conversed with have no problem sending stuff here. I just get it sent sea mail, takes a couple months, but the wait is fun. Haven't had a parcel go astray yet. Where are you located Dino? So Suntek was a distributor of pirated games, thank you for the history lesson ROM and the link to the post; very interesting reading. You have a fantastic site by the way. Thank you for all the work you do! I throughly enjoy your site. Well have a good day; I am off to search for more rare and bizarre Atari 2660 stuff.
  3. Some Atari 2600 collectors have the wonderful ability to make these carts up. It is just a reproduction cart that somebody ( know doubt in this Atari Age community )made. If you search the forums you will find the Atari online label maker.Otherwise, it is just the cartridge shell of another Parker brothers game made into a repro
  4. Hi Dino, I have been collecting and trading since the late 70's; thanks for the link to the site. I have been on that site before, it is just an amazing site with a wealth of knowledge! Kudos to all of those who maintain and add to this site. Dino, I think you misunderstood me; I had it on my Ebay watch list, but I did not bid on it. I said I did not have the cash to bid at that time. Maybe you can help me clarify; I thought it a pirate of the game Aufruhr in Zoo by quelle, well not so much a pirate, but a game that was borrowed/ripped off because it had the same picture on the label. I should have know it was a Suntek by the SS- 027, correct? I have a few of these in my collection. Were these games made in Taiwan? The reason I was going to bid on it was that is was unique and I had never seen a cart like that in my 11 years searching Ebay. I always look for weird and unusual stuff to pop up in auctions. Thanks for your help Dino, did you win the game?
  5. Thanks for fixing that up for me cosmosiss, rookie mistake. I don't know if I would go as far as saying PAL is superior, but it sure is awesome to collect. Never knew there was so much pirate stuff out there until I decided to collect it. My machine and tv play them all PAL, NTSC, and SECAM so it makes no difference to me. Rom, was this Zoo Fun cart an Australian pirate company?
  6. Sorry that link does not seem to work, can someone help me? The Ebay auction item number was: 120225084520 Thanks FB
  7. Hi Marco, Yah, that puppy is for real. I had put it on my Ebay watch list, but did not have the cash to bid at that time. Here is the link :eBay Auction -- Item Number: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/6-ATARI-2600-GAMES_W0QQitemZ120225084520QQihZ002QQcategoryZ21176QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZ ViewItem It was brought up in another post here somewhere. My philosophy, were there is one .....
  8. I would have to agree with you Spirantho. The reason I collect them is basically I have nothing left to collect unless you have a spare Video Life or Gauntlet you want to trade. I turned to collecting these pirates about 10 years ago. I have picked up many along the way for next to nothing; mostly paying more for shipping then the game/games themselves. Main reason for that being I am located in Canada, and I get most of this stuff from Europe, Australia, Brazil, or wherever. I have been watching this market very carefully and I too have found the pirate prices creeping up. Weird and funky! You said it ROM; that is what keeps it fresh for me, gotta keep the 2600 addiction alive! I always get excited when I find something different in an auction or one someones trade list. Here's to finding a new pirate!
  9. Thanks for the post; I will take the Atari re-release titles. PM sent
