  6. Hi all, RE: This one on ebay: "...rare Atari VCS/2600 QUADRUN prototype game + pcb!..." eBay Auction -- Item Number: 271236475434 Curious.... how you would be able to tell a prototype board from others? Sorry for the newbie-ness of my post. Looking at AtariProtos does not seem to help me out. Love the concept of adding prototypes to my collection, but my knowledge is minimal. Could this be a board ripped out of a Best Electronics case? Thanks all, -Jeff
  7. I have one similar for Frankenstein's Monster... orange label, has the yellow manual sheet...
  8. All you damn Pitfall haterz.... Gold bars rule fool... scorpions! watch out for the scorpions! oh man, that game is awesome

  10. I bought several of them from that guy... and love em .. yes, the fact that you know real atari peeps from back in the day were using them is why I love them.
  11. Different strokes for different folks! I love it but I'm biased because I made it. Also I take it you will not be wanting to trade me for one?? haha, no thanks! however, I envy the time you have to make the thing... I wish I had time just to play around with my Harmony cart! damn you sands of time!
  12. No offense please, I'm sorry, but that table is just butt ugly!
  13. Good idea! I could whip that app out in no time. I will do up a prototype UI, ask for feedback, refine, and so on. I'll post a new thread with link when done. I've already got this done and just need to fine tune it a bit, then pass it over to Al... long live the heavy sixer list Ready... set... go!

  16. I picked mine up during the market bottom you mention...
  17. Yes, I have used Google Checkout with success. I actually like it better than PayPal. Limited to USA and UK only I believe... but it's been a few months since I last looked. Sold something on Chuckwagon with Google Checkout (side bar-- boy, CtCW/GameGavel has become a let down for 2600 eh?). Also have bought a few things from online sellers directly using Google Checkout with zero problems... Let down? yeah, pretty much...

  19. +1 -- I have done that too and my credit union was happy to help reverse the pay pal charge. They even said they'd work with the police if need be. Use a shill bank account with $10 or less in it for your linked Pay Pal account and only fund when necessary. Pay pal can suck it.
