Yep, it's a Best fake. I once bought one:/ Yep, 100%, you can tell by the font. I also got suckered into one, many years ago, cool bit of trivia though, it has a real mask ROM Quadrun PCB inside. Looking at that pic... it is so fuzzy... how can you tell by the Font? I am looking at a real one now and looks the same... shoot, maybe I have a fake one too...

I like it a lot, thanks for the work. I am sure it has been discussed ad nasuem before, but I digress... I think rarity based on turnover instead of actual scarcity is a nice concept. In fact, I prefer that measure or rarity to actual "known to exist" metrics. If there are 100 in existence, but 1 or 2 come up every year-- okay. But what if 200 are known to exist and I own them all and will never sell them? What is the market price then if one comes up for sale? I think the diamond industry works this way...

Glue issue-- I have a real PI and it has the aforementioned glue circle on it. I have opened it and confirmed it is real. I bought it last year via feeBay (thread is on here somewhere). Anyway, it is possible for glue residue to appear on it... just sayin' seeya, JustJeff

I did this mod with some success. I will open up my Jr. and take a few pics and post back later to this thread. My mod'ed Jr's video is not as good as I hoped and I think maybe I just need to adjust the color "pot" thingy. Anyway, I get better video using the little modern coax converter plug, IMO. I doubt I will try this mod again. -Just Jeff
