I have passed on all the new games coming out over the last year and I just wait for them to be on Ebay and I bid them up with no plans on ever winning the auction just to satisfy the greed. lots of satire ---maybe

Ok this is something weird. A friend got a 5200 and on a few of his games 3rd party like Gyruss and Congo I could not get his or my controller to go down. Now they worked fine with other games like pacman and such. I then got another copy of the games to make sure it was not something with cart and same problem. So now I have 2 systems doing the same thing. Is there any way for me to fix this? I have the Petes test cart and I ran it and the controllers have full range of movement on the screen, so it would seem an issue with the 4 ports? I dont have a 2 port around to test that. Any help or ideas? Thanks

Finally got a boxed Fun with Numbers!
Trade-N-Games replied to toymailman's topic in Auction Central
To be safe in the future I would wait till you had the title in your hands due to people messing with you score from ebay. I looked over that auction before it ended and the shipping was to high. Second alot of those boxes looked beat up and without a clear picture I passed. I hope it turns out to be mint, but next time wait till you get your stuff so some asshole does not make a side deal right under you with the seller. -
That is the same old seller we always talk about! Just diff ebay name. Same location same style background and same pictures used. Plus he has hidden keyword spam in the listing and I get an email almost everytime he list auctions and he has a direct email link in the auction. I thought all that was not in Ebay rules to use?

Very nice to bad it has that sticker! Do you think it could be removed? -
What happened to it I went to Ebay and I click and its no longer there?

And to think people thought I was crazy to buy one for $1000 last year.
-
Only $2050. That box is not worth to much this atari market is going down hill fast! You got a good deal

I just WONDER!!!!!! I WONDER how much one would pay for a shiny Imagic Cubicolor box. I would buy one if you can find the time to make one. I would use an old Imagic inside tray one of the nice cardboard ones and I would love it if the box had the number of the cart right on the front of the box. And maybe a small space under thhe number If I could ask Rob to sign the box for me. PM sent to ya CPU!

That was me that got it from 2600.com. I am on the list #34. The site of owners was just updated with alot of new info. Rob also just gave an interview that has not be published yet but it will soon. I dont care what this sells for but my guess is alot in the end with all the big spenders right now. Goodluck to all the bidders this is alot like the Coke and Video life but there seem to be alot more out there.

I got my Edtris out today after Shawn said something about numbers. It took me 20 times just to get the game to come on. I guess I was happy to find out mine was number 49. I think I looked at the number a few years ago but did not remember. I have alot of Hozer games from before Atari age was around but I got my Edtris a few years ago from Ebay.

Video Jogger and Video Reflux went for a lot of $$$
Trade-N-Games replied to homerwannabee's topic in Auction Central
Well it seems like those 2 titles are going high when they are in nice condition. Plus the box for those 2 is the set with the pad and that goes for around $1000. And the winner was one of thhe big spenders. -
I used to have some forums for my store and 1 time a guy was all happy that he had wasted post "spam" to get up to 1000 so one night I went in and deleated over 500 of his junk post dated after a certain point and he was not happy. I turned the forums off shortly after that just was a bunch of kids with nothing nice to say unlike this very cool Atari community.

Do you have the dealer pack that should be inside the master box? I had my hands on the big box last year but I did not get it since I would never have this many Gamelines.

What would be a fair Trade in Value?
Trade-N-Games replied to coreycorey2000's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Ok this is somewhat what i use on current gen stuff My price I sell at first then trade credit then cash. I make it well worth it for trade. And I pay way more than all the chain stores in town. $39.95 ,trade $30, cash $25 reason this is so high is this stuff sells fast, is this around 75% trade value 34.95 ,trade 25-28, Cash $20 24.95 , trade 15-18, cash 10 14.95 trade 8-10, cash 5, the reason for so low is this is the same old stuff that always comes in so I have a few of each in stock and alot of it sits around So trade value has different levels in my store based on how fast I can sell it. Many NES games are just $1 or $2 each even when I sell them for $5 since I have tons and they dont sell fast and some $5 games I give $3 or $3.50 since I know they will move fast. -
I have got alot of instructions from them and every time it took over 2 weeks and each time the messed up my order and I had to return the wrong instructions and then wait another 2 weeks for the correct one or a refund. I guess thats the norm with them.

I do that on some of the games I sell and I insert my business card on the back side. I do it to protect the label from any damage. That one could have been one of mine I have sold a few of those over the years.

Trade-N-Games replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Auction Central
Sounds good to me. And Welcome to Atari Age. Are you going to be selling off other parts of your collection? -
Thanks! I was so close to hitting that BIN. Bad time with Tax season for me right now. Thats one of the few i need for my collection but the people who are sitting on many copies are now also happy that it sold for that price!

This is an old post Fri Mar 7, 2003 4:03 PM And on this topic I pay at my store $30-35 for used ones and sell around $60 with a common game. I checked around the net and other stores have new Cubes at retail of $99.99 still

sweetsstuff4u ships boxed game in bubble envelope
Trade-N-Games replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
You know what sucks is this one person or anyone for that matter can in a way control the Ebay market for the sole purpose of profit for himself with a narrow focus on one brand. I see this often on NES and SNES the same one person winning all big lots and them reselling 1 at a time and then not letting any sell for low if they have an investment in certain titles that would lower what they want to get for them. Why would Ebay really care? These people are driving up prices =more money for Ebay. If you are a seller of a game on Ebay who cares who wins, it goes to the highest bidder. Now I do understand how this all started with this person saying he did not receive package and got money back but then started selling them. And that is the crime and the point to this whole topic going on an on. Now another crazy thing about this whole deal is its so easy for this person to do this but for the most part impossible to stop them. As a community of gamers we should not bid on his items and work to get him removed but we all know he will be right back with a new name. -
Welcome to the new guy! And I cant spell worth a *hit.
