I'll be playing this and Jaws tonight. Gaming goodness all weekend.

-
Jaws has arrived in Florida! Cart looks great and the instruction manual is really nicely done. Can't wait to play it later tonight.
Thank you!

Did McGrail get a new account?
-
I think Curt is too busy not shipping joysticks to get back to you.
-
Best part is look at those carts, they all work! Long live Atari. Show me a Playstation or Xbox game that looks like that and works

-
Well I just thought, .............. I think ..................... I think you can.Well, there is your problem right there.
-
Me?
:ponder: Also got Defender Arcade coming

Just scored a Ms. Pac cabaret of CL for $50! Just needs a new overlay. Gotta go get it out the back of my truck and fire it up.

More Atari goodness coming my way this week

-
I was looking foward to getting in on this finally and was just thinking how coll it would be tomorrow, read the thread, realized it was Monday, holiday messed me up. Well, hope to join everyone next week.

We know you are almost 16 but could you please stop swearing so much. These are supposed to be friendly forums and even one where a parent won't mind thier 15 year old reading them. We are not your school friends and don't want to hear your foul langauge and poor grammer.
Speak like an adult if you want to be treated as such and do some research, even a Google search before you have multiple threads going where you have no clue what you are even talking about.
As for the foul language I will from here on out report every post you make with a swear word in it until the mods either get sick of my reports or your posts.

I had a Pink Panther proto and didn't like Wonder's offer, I recycled the EPROM's and tossed the case.
Thank you for lightening up this thread a little, I was starting to get depressed.
-
Illuminated fire button would be much nicer. I kind of like the idea of a 'ring' of light around the joystick, hmm, just a thought.

Seriously, two people choose Mattel? Just being different? They have no artwork and there is no way to stack them if you have loose carts. 'Lets just use our shells and put a big adapter on the end to fit their system!'
As to why so many people have said Activision is lots of us have loose collections and when you stack them up they are rock solid. I love the Atari carts but they do have a tendency to slide around if you bump anything.
-
Wow, only four left. This and Pac Jr. show that Atari still has some life in it. I just hope we don't see these getting flipped on ebay for $200+ next year.
-
For ease of display, Activision. Wish all carts stacked as nice.
-
Consider me begging and I'm sure there will be a line.

-
I will buy one, really nice looking cart. If you do decide to make them you can consider one sold to me

-
Really surprised nobody has tackled this one yet, even just a better port. Donkey Kong was a very popular game and as a kid I played the heck out of the 2600 version but was always jealous of the Colecovision version. Wish I could help.
-
I can understand copyrights and wanting to preserve them so they can make more 360 and DS games with Pac but going after this would seem dumb. Are they willing to make available a cart for a 2600 or Colecovision? No, it wouldn't be profitable enough for a big company to make games for a long gone system.
Then again they do own the copyrights so would they maybe agree to a percentage? Would it be worth it? Would suing be worth it? How many copies would it require to satisfy demand? A few hundred? We all know most homebrewers don't make much back to start with so is it worth the big companies time to go after a few dollars in royalties?
High profit auctions don't help though, there could be a cease and desist letter on the way now, I hope not. I would really like to get this game, missed out on the first batch and just could not justify spending that much for one.

I would love to see some more pictures of that

Shawn Sr. and PacManPlus also make amazing quality stuff and so do I for that matter (which some of you will find out). I would absolutely LOVE to make a bid for your game (at least the cart) but I am still waiting for parts for Ms. Pac-Man so I can finish that up. Things are going much slower then planned for that.
I can definitely say Shawn Sr. makes quality carts. I can not wait to get my first cart from PacManPlus (hopefully production is getting ready to resume?) and really looking forward to getting a 'MILF' (Chickybaby) cart. Pac Jr. looks awesome but I always had more of a thing for Ms. back in the day.
CPUWIZ does awesome work too, we are truly lucky to have so many talented people contributing to the Atari community. I'm sure this will be another great project.
I just want to say thank you to all the people working on all the various projects, you are all great. Being able to get some games I'll probably never be able to own is just great, being able to get new games is just awesome.
Thank you for putting this into production Wonder007. Looking forward to it.

I didn't want to crap on your thread yesterday when you thought these were worth $100, sorry to hear you paid $150 if you really did. I got one of these with 40+ games a few months back from another member here for about $25 or so. These really aren't worth much but they do look cool. I think your price point is pretty good now and someone will buy them, good luck with your sale.

I have the 1 or 2 player label and didn't know there was another but never looked into it too much. Figured one Sears text is as same as the next, like Tempest said, now there is another one I need.
I always concentrate more on the Atari label games, this is just never ending. How can you not love Atari collecting?

I love how some posts will bring back all sorts of memories from 20+ years ago, forgot all about these. Nice.

Homer, your keyword spamming is sad.
