That will sure look nice against a red background

I have griped about this before myself, and unfortunately you do start to get used to it. It sucks and ebay sucks. Problem is, it is only going to get worse. On a positive note ebay is doing all it can to get rid of regular sellers so hopefully they will go under once there are no more auction listings.

Looks nice, will look even better in my VCS

Last 8 copies of LAI Games' STACKER 2600 game now for sale
HFK replied to Shawn's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Oh My God I can not believe he would do that, I mean, What the hell? I will never buy anything from him and I never sell any of my stuff anyways but I would give something away before I would sell it to him. -
Was it $500 or $1000 for guessing exactly? I can't remember anymore. The best part was Bob Barker used to make the female contestants reach into his pockets to get the money. Things have sure changed since this game came out
-
And closest to the actual retail price without going over........Wait, you get the extra prize money for guessing the exact price
-
With all the good deals you have been getting lately I don't think you'll get much time to play Star Castle...........
-
I ordered in November and have posted in the 2600 forum thread about these and e-mailed a few times, sent a copy of my Google receipt, check the website and still nothing. Like I stated in the other thread what I want more then anything is at least a response to what is happening. Update the website to let people know. Please, just post something here. Curt visits this site often and posts on the forums, post HERE! Like I also said, I understand delays and health problems but at least let people who have sent you money know what is happening with it. Yes, Curt has done alot for the community but this is just getting silly. LET US KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON CURT!

big $ 4 rare carts to 'complete' collection? rationalize!
HFK replied to Derek's topic in Atari 2600
I dream of having a 'complete' collection but it really is hard to figure out what that is. I like the 418 number and it is a good list, not neccesarily my list, but a good one. Everyone has their own opinions but I would be happy with the 418 list. Some will be out of my range unless good luck comes my way so I too have gone with some repros and am very happy with them. Label variations were a way for me to keep collecting games I could afford and keep my collection growing at an acceptable price while I waited to get other games. There are still some 1, 2, and 3 rarities I need because when I started years ago I tended to buy the most expensive games I could afford at the time figuring I'd go back to get the others some day. That is the thing about the 2600, you can never have a 'Complete "complete"' collection, another pirate or one off is out there somewhere. Then again you can define parameters for your complete collection and then change them as time goes on. I have well over 418 'unique' 2600 carts, wish I had the 418 carts on the list though. -
I figured this was more of a way to gauge interest to get a base idea how many to produce. Pac Jr. was supposed to be 40 copies and within two days there were aabout 100 people wanting one. I think it is a good idea to see who is interested first, otherwise decide to make 40 and 200 people then want one or decide to make 120 then only 10 people are interested. One way you have people disappointed the other you sit on a whole bunch of worthless games. Find out who is interested then make maybe 20 more copies and hope for the best. Good idea to me at least.

Premium is the way to go.

I made the list :) Got the money waiting for you
-
Is it just me or does that seem kinda high for an auction with what seemed like a a stock photo?
-
We can't even find anyone who remembers where a blue t-handle cart came from.
-
hhwolfman, king of the good deals this week. Ready to sell me that Star Castle yet?
-
I have a loose Star Castle, any interest in that? Some, but I would at least like an overlay, box even better. The condition on these ones are not pristine but the pieces are there. For $75 + shipping it was a good deal so I threw $30 out there for the hell of it. Like I said, condition isn't great so you never know, that is alsmost half the auction price so it can't hurt to ask. Yes, I know Star Castle can be expensive but then again $30 was just my opening offer.
-
If someone from here got it I'll offer $30 for the Star Castle...
-
I would be interested in a cart when they are made to go along with my Jr. cart, always loved the Pac games. Let us know when they will be made.
-
I always love getting a new cart. Looking forward to it, thanks for the update
-
So I am on the list for one? Obviously I am under the not ready yet but does that mean eventually? If so when do you want the money? Thank you
-
I would also be interested but how much of a price point are we looking at? Extras are always nice and I would want them, depends on what you decide I guess. Then you get into the problem though of not having enough sometimes but as always I would be happy just to get the chance to get a cart. Please let us know when you are ready to sell so we can try to get in. I don't want to upset anyone by saying put me down for one now, I guess that is one of the problems with these boards, people jumping in and expressing interest in a new cart before the 'official thread' is started.........

I'll trade you for a red label Dodge 'Em Seriously, I love this place.
-
Ouch. I love the label. I wanted one that was never going to be mistaken for a real one, I even said put 'reproduction label' on it if he wanted. Besides, this will never be for sale unless I stumble upon an original label one cheaper then what I paid for this and everyone will know it's history anyways, so the font is fine with me, I never even thought about it actually. The end label matches my orange Breakout, really like the big text, stands out on the shelf. Luckily it would be hard for anyone to easily make a silver label that could pass for an original, not enough money to be made faking Atari stuff. R9 game for less then 1/3 of what nice loose copies have gone for lately. Like I said, I'm happy edit: Forgot to add: ------------------- Keeper of the labely challenged Quadrun.
-
Well, I am not exactly poor, yet. From this: to this: Not too bad now for $55 shipped? I am happy and that is all that matters. A very special thank you to an outstanding member here for making me a label, I don't know if you want your name mentioned so I'll leave that to you, but thank you very much. Any word on that CIB Air Raid? Does someone know the answer to a great mystery yet? Quadrun! Quadrun! Quadrun!
