  Nope, not Pit and the Pendulum. I do recall though it also had a scene where a couple of guys were escaping a castle/palace/temple and it turned into ruins.

  Hmm.. there were a lot of mostly Euro movies in the late 60s and early 70s that involved the middle or renaissance ages, witchcraft and torture, and a pendulum was a possibility. Some include:
  
  MARK OF THE DEVIL
  
  THE WITCHES
  
  CONQUEROR WORM
  
  THE TORTURE CHAMBER OF DR. SADISM
  
  Or maybe one of the other movies based on an Edgar Allan Poe story. Like:
  
  THE OBLONG BOX
  
  MURDERS AT THE RUE MORGUE
  
  Just some ideas.
