  1. Update- I did find a camera at a garage sale so I'm putting this thread on hold.
  2. NOA had strict guidelines. I think that's why games like "Devil World" didn't even come to the North American shores. NOA's Guidelines
  3. Here's one selling "Genisis" Grand F**k???? Never heard of that record before
  4. ♫ Let me tell you something, you whiny little snot. There's something wrong with all you kids today. You just don't appreciate all the things you've got. We were hungry, broken and miserable and we liked it fine that way.♫

Every night for dinner, we had a big old chunk of dirt. If we were really good, we didn't get dessert.

  7. I've been putting it off but I'd like to get a digital camera that isn't so crappy. The one I have now takes pictures with flash like a nuclear weapon just went off and the video is grainy. I'd also like to get one that won't get so blurry when I need to take pics up close. To explain what I DON'T want with a camera, here's an example of my crappy train shots:
  8. If you have an Arcadia 2001, let me know. I was just sniped from evil-bay.
  9. I wonder what, if anything, Gates stole from Atari?
  10. Found a not so common board game at a thrift store yesterday: Fart: The Game. Complete with whoopie cushion.

Yes, but did you ever find "Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence" yet?

  11. Found a seller. Thanks for playing everyone.
  12. I'm starting a collection of Emerson Arcadia 2001 games and even those MPT-03 games if they work on the console.
  13. Anyone else want to do that Wayne and Garth bowing down and chanting "WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!"
  14. Welcome to All Things Scottish - if it's not Scottish, it's crap!

  15. Too bad we didn't have the chance to introduce him to Janet.
  16. Apple never really wanted to have Macs as gaming platforms. Speaking of which I did find a G3 (blue and white) for very cheap at a rummage sale last week. I haven't tested it yet but I did ask if it worked and the owner said it did but was slow.
  17. Don't you believe it.

  18. Their new format is assinine. I want the old format back and they don't have an option to do so. It's just like Yahoo mail when half of the time it doesn't work.
  19. Ummm...what did they do to extortion bay? Their new layout is much more worse than the old one IMO.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage--who the heck does that anymore?!

  21. It has been a grey area for many years, ever since the term abandonware has been used on sites for games/software no longer produced. It probably would be 10x worse to sell the rom or roms for personal profit. If you really want the game, buy it. Homebrew developers are adding extra features like easter eggs to the actual games to attract collectors and gamers alike. As written in the 'Support AtariAge' page, "Buy something from the AtariAge Store. You get something, we get something, everybody wins." It's really your decision to choose between roms or the actual thing. I choose both-the best of both worlds. Besides, I really like those hacks and the ability to actually expand a game to make it more like the arcade versions. For the controller part, anything that will work, feel comfortable in the hands, and maybe rapid fire. There are those famiclones with the 9 pin port but they won't work on the Atari.
  22. Spikes Peak is tough. My cousins used to have more Atari 2600 games than I did but when I played them, they must of had the difficulty setting to "A" instead of "B" making games I never played before hard
