There was a time I used to watch the Oscars. For that matter, there was a time when I knew when they were actually on TV. Apparently, that was last night.

As long as I can remember I've always trusted professional game reviews from IGN and GameSpot to advise me on which games are worth playing and which aren't, but I'm starting to think that modern game reviewers have just gotten too picky. When you're slamming a game and giving it a bad score for running at 30 frames per second and not 60 that's just ridiculous.
