Here the revamped Overworld One Map.

"Atari" is just money hungry. They already have their mind set on winning the lawsuit against Nestle. And if Atari does win, I'm pretty sure they won't accept chocolate as payment. (Oh yeah, copying and pasting an accented "e" really screws up the alignment.)
-
They got rid of the "news" section which could been accessed via search engine without signing up. That means they just want others to sign up so they can spam them with usual "what is your favorite (blah blah blah)". If there's any consolation to the whole Atari branding thing, it should be something like this:

Atari's Landfill Adventures, I now have the proof it's true.

You could just bury an E.T cartridge along with some rancid garbage like hamburger meat or rotten chicken parts that are not safe to eat and bury both in your backyard. Can't say if the dogs/raccoons will dig it up though. -
I'm stumped about that. It could be either the Concerto isn't used to 512K games? Maybe the voltage or that it's using HSC. Batari may know since he's into all the technical stuff.

Trying to bankswitch ... having troubles
frankodragon replied to Synthpopalooza's topic in Atari 7800 Programming
I like to have the graphics in the last bank but at times you may need to insert graphics into, say, the first bank for title graphics. Keep in mind storing graphics and code into another bank will eat up a lot of memory for that bank. I like to call the last bank the "vault" since graphics and only graphics go into that bank. I'm guessing each bank is still 16K in size? So, for instance a 128K game will have eight banks (16 x 8= 128). You could have graphics and code in the first bank for titles and title screen code. Then banks 2-7 you'll just have game code. Finally, bank 8 will have the rest of graphics. With a 48K game, could you call up 3 banks, each 16K? I always thought it was already done for you. -

I'm pretty sure you could find some recipes for cooking spiders and rats online while in the cellar. -
I used to adjust the contrast, color, etc knobs on the TV when playing Pac-Man to make it bit more interesting. I could of even set the colors to make a chome-ish tint which was popular back then.

Repros are around $10 on ebay. There are the original ones that some are selling for around $70. -
He probably doesn't know what an Atari is but he'd probably wear one:

Men Without Hats' "Safety Dance" comes more to mind while wearing an Atari Speakerhat:

Had no idea until today that Will Lee a.k.a. Mr. Hooper from classic Sesame Street was in this Atari commercial for Pac-Man. Now when I think about it, someone at Atari may have seen the arcade and looked at it sideways? Who knows.
-
The picture almost looks like there are familiar actors from the old school Sesame Street. The woman who looks like she's about the spank looks like Sonia Manzano, and Will Lee (aka Mr. Hooper) on the right. Ironically, Lee actually was in an Atari commercial before his death in 1982.

More screenshots. Sections of the overworlds will be locked until you visit a temple. So there has to be a temple around that isn't blocked off. Where does this locked passageway lead to?

Here's a thread about Atari's legal battles over other companies but that was back in 2006: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/97759-games-that-atari-sued-over/

I don't think CPUWIZ has the time to release any more PP carts or roms for that matter. It's due to bad ROM/RAM chips and NAP decided to cancel the game instead. http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/pinkpanther/pinkpanther.htm

This project is still alive. I've been re-tuning the whole game since it was too much backtracking and the nonlinear approach was too confusing. Now the drakers are in caves with enemies outside on the overworld maps like the last game. Originally, the way you could navigate through an overworld and go to other parts of it was to traverse into caves and back out again but that was changed so the overworlds are now opened up more and less dead-ends. Temples are now in placed in the overworld areas as well and they are blocked by doors until you find a crystal from an open temple. I also found out how to get the text to work so I won't be needing to use sprite texts like in the last build. What remains the same is whenever the player completes 3 or 4 temples in the world, another world entrance appears in the first overworld. And this is from the Desert World: The game will still need lots of testing/fixing as I have to fine tune all the locations of the locked doors for the temples, etc.

One of the board's traces looks like it's been cut or just may be dirt on the right side of the EPROM.
