  1. Isn't that Garry's Mod? I love that game. Thats a Half Life 2 map actually. I managed to find a copy of the map and play it myself.
  2. Here's my results: http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t29/nightwheel/consoletestcap.jpg To be fair, I did use google to look up the proper spelling for "Intellivision". But thats the only time I used google. Another thing, how did I forget the Game Gear and the Master System? Especially since they came to mind while I was doing the quiz.
  3. We had a small birthday party for my dad over at a friends of the family's house Yesterday. While I was there, the husband wanted me to look at his Portable Media Player. To see whats wrong with it and fix it if I could. (I took it home and it's fixed now.) While I was looking over the player for the first time. I noticed his "Doom" and "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" box and packaging. (I've seen them before there at the house.) I went to pick up I think the Wolenstein box. And he asked me if I wanted both Wolfenstein and Doom. I asked him if he was sure, and he said I could have them. So I got "Doom Collector's Edition" and "Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Game of the Year Edition" for free! Now I can play Doom for the first time without it being a demo.
  4. Someone watched Raw on Monday night....

  5. Someone watched Raw on Monday night....

  6. I made it past Dallas and almost made it to the next city/landmark. Which where I was going to have to kill one of my party. I didn't get there in time and I got bit by the person.
  7. Glad to hear that it "looks" like a good deal. For right now, I don't have the money. And I won't till either Tuesday or Wednesday. So I still have a day or two to think about this. And I'm really torn between this machine or pre-ordering a Nintendo 3DS. But like I said, I have time to think about it. (That is if it's gone by then.) (Fun quick note, the corner of a box you see in the first picture. Actually contains a antique Russian field radio system. Or so the price label said on it.)
  8. Well there is no link for it since it's being sold locally at a Flea Market style store. And the person who runs the booth it's in has a price tag or $250 on it. Here are some pictures I took of it today:
  9. Hey folks, I found what seems to be a working Kangaroo cab locally. While I know a thing or two about what to look out for, when buying regular video games and consoles. I know almost nothing when it comes to what to look for when buying a Arcade Machine. So here are my questions...... - What are things I need to check first on the cabinet? - Whats is a decent price for a working Kangaroo cab? - What is the best way to check to see if the controls are working properly and in good shape? And to add to this question, how much would it cost to fix the controls if there is a problem? - What the best way to move it if I do decide to buy it. If you need to know some details about the machine, do ask. I want to know as much as possible before making a purchase such as this.
  10. I got these items yesterday, courtesy of the State of Kentucky. As part of my Vocational Rehab for school: Dragon Naturally Speaking Version 11 Franklin Advance Dictionary & Thesaurus with Spell Correction (mainly got it for the spell checker) 2GB Livescribe Pulse Smartpen, with extra notebooks and extra replacement ink cartages Not seen, Office 2010
  11. I think we forgot a obvious failed console. One of which failed so much it never came to market. And did a good job of living up to it's name. The Phantom.......
  12. I personally own a Game.com and Vtech Socrates
  13. Have you tried contacting Disney or Nintendo about this to see if they know anything?
  14. Don't get me wrong. The loss of those consoles is 100% nothing compared to the lives that have been lost so far. But it's still a tragedy either way.
  15. http://kotaku.com/5735493/vintage-gaming-collection-washed-away-in-aussie-floods/ Oh my..... This is truly quite sad. At least he's still alive though.
  16. I finished Halo 3 last night. It's a fun game.
  17. Well not necessarily a gaming related find.... I was doing a scrap job today over at a family friends house. (We got TONS of scrap.) And we went down into the workshop to get the scrap/trash pieces of metal left over from projects to haul off. When I saw a Panasonic 5-Disk DVD Surround Sound system on a shelf. Covered in grinder shaving and welding dust/residue. Set up just to play music CD's on. I asked about it, and ended up getting it. And in return, I'm to provide him with another (smaller) CD player to play his CD's on. I don't have it hooked up yet, but I definitely got it cleaned up though. (It didn't come with the phono-jack adapter, I added that.)
  18. I've found a green N64 with games. Including a few imports for $50 total at a local antique store. But to this day, looking back now. There is one console that i saw at a Antique store. That to this day I regret not getting. In the later half of the 90's. One of my local antique stores had a Virtual Boy for $15. I was only like 7 or 8 years old at the time. And virtual reality still was pretty popular. The main reason we didn't get it was my dad wasn't sure if we would be able to get games for it.
  19. http://kotaku.com/5723205/rumor-3ds-stolen-from-chinese-factory/gallery/ Uh oh.... If this is true. I bet Nintendo is ticked
  20. Well, it happened again folks! http://jalopnik.com/5720404/man-survives-impromptu-game-of-real+life-frogger
  21. While not a game, my dad bought a pristine vintage Union 76 antenna ball. Off of ebay a few years ago. But the dumb seller sent the thing in a bubbler mailer. And when we got it, one side of the ball was somewhat fattened. Needles to say, my dad was somewhat ticked.
  22. I finally got this back on Friday for free. It's one of the Goldeneye 007 posters from my local Gamestop.
  23. That's hilarious, thank goodness mine didn't come with some fake boobs. I'm not sure what my girlfriend would have said! i hope mine (genesis) dosen't come with crucified santa.... I'm thankful mine didn't come with a brick or a washing machine . Though that Roomba did weigh as much as a brick .
  24. My Roomba Robot set came in today. I looked outside and saw a large box perched on top of our Mailbox. I shall have some fun looking through those Robot Magzines! And have fun with the Roomba!
