Let's not forget my attempt at a "non-kiddie" NES site. Didn't someone mention strategies and coverage for obscure games? I think I'm your man when it comes to obscurity. And for what it's worth, I agree with the main point of this post. There's nothing comprehensive NES-wise. Yet. Like portnoyd, though, I've seen NintendoAge, and am even working with giskard on it, and I assure you that with enough love it will be exactly what you guys are looking for. As for "adult" writing any any kind of attempt at humor, I hope you've seen Seanbaby's site. And again, to a MUCH lesser extent, mine. Otherwise...yeah. There's only one mature NES community out there that I know of, and I'll be damned if I'm going to ruin that by advertising it.

So...let me get this straight. This capture card and the superiority of Linux will take a screen grab, size it to the exact specifications of a Stella screenshot, PERFECTLY eliminate all distortion down to the pixel, send a reverse signal that actually enhances the 2600's graphical capabilities, AND convert the gif to use the same palette as Stella? That's fucking awesome. I need to get one of those.

THANK YOU, Albert. I have no reputation around here, I'm glad someone "big" was able to notice this stuff too. I mean, come on. How the HELL can a vidcap only have 9 colors? Next time you want to fake a prototype, make sure you do some jpg distortion.

I am 100% positive that those "captured" screenshots are NOT captures. They are either doctored images or emulator screengrabs. This guy says that he will LATER get the ROMs dumped, implying that they're not dumped now. Meaning he's lying, either by saying the game is not dumped or by saying that these screen shots are television captures. Either way, this is bullshit, and I'm certainly not falling for it.

Well, assuming those screenshots are what's on the cart, the game IS dumped. Those screenshots are most certainly not from a capture card, they're absolutely perfect. I don't care how perfect your capture card is, there's no way you'd get raw graphics displayed perfectly like that using any 2600 setup. There's a remote possibility that the screens were taken using a capture card and then digitally edited to have absolutely no distortion at all, but come on. That's way too much work.
