  1. Yes, not really a mockup, the Destructor one is just the French Canadian label that Coleco Canada put in each game they sold to comply with our language laws - cant label stuff in English only. I like to collect them. Sometimes they varied more than just the text eg. the cool "blue snake" version of Venture.
  2. They look to be in fairly good shape, as far as scarcity, they are all very common games. I cant speak to the market in the UK, it may differ from that in N America where I am so I suggest you get on Ebay UK, search for each game, select to see SOLD prices not just asking prices (because anyone can ask anything and they do!) then reduce that by about 10-15% if you sell off Ebay to reflect the fees you are not paying and there is your valuations.
  3. I appreciate the offer. As per my reply to another person above, I wouldnt want to use a tracked service, just envelope and stamp. But in the mean time someone suggested going to my local library I know they have a printer but I dont know what the usage rules are yet.
  4. I was thinking more along the line of (the US equivalent of) what we call Lettermail. Like small padded envelope and stamp. To send from me to a US address would be $3.40 CAD ($2.50 USD) so I am sure its about the same inbound.
  5. They do have a printer actually, I will check that out.
  6. Purchased an Atari box which was well packaged, priced right, shipped promptly with many thanks.
  7. I have a small budget for this, its just a nice to have item. Shipping to be kept to bare minimum, i.e letter rate to Canada. Cheapest one on ebay wants $14 CAD to ship
  8. Should anyone be interested, I am helping Richard's widow dispose of what was left of his ADAM-related assets. Much of it went on sale on Ebay this last year but if there is something you seek, drop me a message and I will let you know Local pickup in the GTA or I can ship.
  9. Atari 520STFM with power cable only. I tested with a few known working disks and all appeared to be working well. Asking $180CAD, much preferred is a local pickup in Greater Toronto Area but I will ship if necessary. Other than clean the disk heads, I have done no maintenance, upgrades, repairs, never opened it.
  10. I found what looks like an unused open box 32X but it was complete except for the manuals. NTSC, not the MegaDrive model. These manuals appear on Ebay from time to time but they typically want over $25 just to ship, I mean for a couple pieces of paper. Anyone?
  11. Be interested in the next one, I have spare PSUs and monitor cables so I am good.
  12. Unit received and up and running. Thank you masteries for your rapid and helpful after sales support helping me through a technical issue on my Windows PC that initially prevented me from flashing the unit for ADAM. I recommend this to other ADAM users. The unit came flashed with Atari setup so in order to flash it for my ADAM, first I had to install the CH341 USB to COM port driver on my Windows PC which I found with a quick search. This is required because the flash tool expects to upload via a COM port so we use this driver to map a COM port to the USB port on the PC. Use of a good USB cable is very important, initially I used a cheaper charging cable which did not have the data lines and whereas I could use the cable for the ATARI to power the Fujinet as it had power and ground wires, it didnt have the data lines needed to bidirectionally communicate with the unit. Just avoid the cheaper charging-only cables and you will be good to go. It took less than a minute to download and less than a minute to install the driver in Windows. Connecting the Fujinet via USB to the PC then it was no other step to configure the PORT, and to verify on Device Manager, it now appeared as a COM port ready to flash. Instructions are provided with your unit to change jumpers on the unit between Atari and ADAM I then downloaded the flash tool via the link also provided with the unit and it was a simple process to run it and flash Maybe less than 5 minutes for the flash, maybe less than 10 minutes end to end process from out of the box to up and running. ( I only took longer due to the cheap charging cable I was using but with a good one, its a painless process)
  13. Computer Shopper magazine was great for that, I eagerly awaited each issue. This makes an interesting read too
  14. I believe it is/was the Slopsema's who had many pictures from the various ADAMCONs up on a web site, mostly group photos, anyone know if thats still online/available? @adamcon I myself went to ADAMCon 1 in Orlando, attended,- indeed helped organize #2 in Toronto - then drifted from the scene until coming back to a couple in the 2010's
  15. I was more or less the club "scrounger" for MTAG - the Metro Toronto ADAM Group back in the day so I usually had a sales table at the monthly meetings and you'd be surprised at how many items "walked" when they thought I wasn't looking. I never called anyone out on it, figured they needed it bad enough to thief it, well so be it.....
  16. I got a T-handle with no label in a lot of games I just bought and in doing some research as to what this game was, I found this thread which has a lot of good info. One thing I didnt see mentioned in this thread but was obvious to me was that one difference between NTSC K-Tel Vulture Attack and PAL Funvision Space Monster is that the latter will have "Funvision" on the screen on the bottom/left whereas the NTSC version doesn't.
  17. I think its some kinda memory card but not really sure or for which model computer. Ideas?
  18. Located in Canada, Im looking for suggestions on using a monitor or TV with my Japanese Sony MSX2 I have on order. The connector on the computer itself is I believe an 8-pin DIN plug. I have in my stockpile a PAL TV with SCART connector, rest have no SCART - a Commodore 1902a, various models of Amiga monitors 1080, 1084, 1084s, a Sony 1302A Any one of these means putting together a custom cable I expect. Anyone using one of these or have a suggestion?
  19. Full set of the 2012 CV-01 Colecovision Trading Cards Collection https://www.ebay.ca/itm/125221836314
  20. Yes and I am motivated to sell as it takes up too much space. Contact me here.
  21. PM incoming on messenger
  22. It was pretty good, looked fwd to meeting you but maybe you couldn’t make it after all. Hope it becomes yearly. Got lots of good advice on my Amigas which are in various states of repair.
  23. Is there anyone in the Greater Toronto Area (Im in Durham Region) that would be willing to test an Amiga 1000 kb for me that came in a lot of A2000 stuff I bought?
