Wrong wrong wrong.
Nolan squeezed Ted out long after Pong.
Ted helped with the building of Pong.
Al was hired by Ted and Nolan not after Ted left.

Do you know what Blue Sky Ranger and Intellivision Great has a cameo in this game as the boss monster "Chef"?

Here is a quick game play vid of the easy setting with predictable item locations. It really is a great bit of programming on Byte's part as the randomness of the custodian really is ingenious. Sometimes he will come at you and steal what you have or drop one item you need for another one you might be carrying. But, other times, he just passes by and doesn't confront you. It's crazy!
And, sometimes when you are being chased by one of the podcasters they will follow you from screen to screen, while other times they will reset and not come after you. All seemingly random, but really ads to the challenge of the simple task of simply locating the stack of promo CD's and removing them to freedom outside the CGE Expo hotel. When you do finally locate and grab the CD's the alarm goes off and the screen flashes on and off bright red, which really stresses you out as you run to freedom.
I really can't stop playing until I accomplish that task
And the ending when you do finally escape with the CD's always brings a smile to my face.-

Simply_Dave, like many of you AA'ers got in early on GameGavel and have lifetime free seller accounts (no fees for life). Why not use them for situations like this. It obvisouly keeps track of all the bidding and there is a free option to keep the bidding private as well. Seems a lot more simple than this
You can advertise your auctions here in AA, so you will get the same people bidding and making offers. We also have an offer system free as well that keeps track of the offers and takes care of the back-and-forth communications between the parties.Carry on

You know when we do our Top-10 picks we never know what the others are going to pick until it hit's a our private thread about it. So each of us put in our four picks and our rule is we don't change them once we hit enter. So sometimes, that is how games like Zelda ALTTP didn't make this list. It wasn't in my four picks, and I figured one of them would pick it, but none did. So we go with what we pick first and no changes. Then of course we rank them and toss two out.
I have to credit UK for the sound byte genius he is. That one was pretty hilarious! I do love Shane though

Ordered! Thanks!
Thank you

Hey Thanks,
Like I said above, the programming and everything is done. We just need to know how many to build and which ones will be produced as NTSC vs. PAL. Once they are built we will get it sent off to ya

I do not normally pre order anything ether but I made an exception for this and pre-ordered this morning I have no doubt they will deliver and prices are reasonable.
Kickstarter projects I will never make an exception or pledge.

Thanks Walter!
-
Walter, the game is complete. Just a pre-order status because we need to know the ratio of NTSC vs. PAL to produce. Games will be shipping towards the middle to end of May. If you get yours now it will ship from the UK with cheaper shipping as we will bring a copy for you to give to UK Mike at Revival Expo and he will mail from there.

The March 2013 Podcast is upon us. Er, upon you! This month is our longest show ever clocking in at a little over 460 minutes or 8+ hours. We debate the Top-10 SNES games and have a great interview with the upcoming Euro Gaming Documentary, From Bedrooms to Billions, co-creator Anthony Caulfield. All this and much much more! Enjoy!

Is that Keith Robinson in his Burgertime Chefs hat?
Good eye! Although, he is Intellivision-The-Great in our game. And the final boss monster!

My two biggest GG complaints:
No email notifications that watched or losing auctions are ending. I just forget and I need that tickler to tell me to go back and look 4-6 hours before auction end.
Difficult to search categories in their entirety- like if I search 'Other' it gives me one result and 'Other-Channel F' it gives another. 'Other' should include all the subcategories. Those may not be exact categories, but just giving an example.
Sorry that this is OT.

Thanks Ian,
Both of those things should be addressed in the upcoming upgrade. Sholdn't be too much longer

Hey all,
Hopefully it's cool to make a post here as well as our running post in the Home Brew section. I have seen other home brews listed here for sale so figured it was ok.
Here we go . . . . .
Head's up! We are done with CGE Adventures, the new Atari 2600 game created around live events from Classic Gaming Expo 2010!
CGE Adventures is soon to release the first week of April (preorders) and will be shipping in May. CGE Adventures will be for sale initially, exclusively on GameGavel.com! It will be available in few packages:
1) Atari 2600 cartridge, complete with plastic case, instructions AND special "feelies". In addition, the first 69 sold will include a bonus autographed podcast promo CD (signed by the three RetroGamingRoudup hosts) just like the one in the game that was stolen by the "thief".
2) Complete as above + your name listed as a "Supporter" in the manual (limited run)
OR
2) A rom copy and digital game manual.
Pricing is still being determined based on final costs. But more than likely the complete version will be around $40 +/- (shipped!) and the Rom/manual will be around $10. There will be both NTSC and PAL versions available! Carts will also be sold in the UK during the Revivial and Play Expos AND at the Portland RetroGamingExpo coming up later this year. So there will be plenty opportunities to nab a copy. This will not be a limited run and more can always be made if the demand is there.
I will update this thread with the Sales Listing when it goes live. We have put nearly a year of production into this product and hope you will all have as much fun playing it as we all had making it! Viva Las Vegas!
