  1. That intro screen on Astro Chase featured some of the best graphics from that era. I remember drooling over that, but never did get that game on any system.
  2. New Feature - New Buried Gaming Treasures on ChaseTheChuckwagon.com - Read About it here: http://www.ChasingTheChuckwagon.com. All proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to http://www.ChildsPlayCharity.org. Happy Hunting !
  3. Yeah, sorry for all the negativity on there .... Hopefully, we got things back on track Thanks Racket - I appreciate you and your mods hasty response over there. Welcome to AtariAge
  4. Not sure if this counts, but I have this if you are interested: http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/item.cgi...item=0000038978
  5. The negativity continues. Why? http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.p...p;sk=t&sd=a Choices are good, at least I thought so.
  6. I just have no love for this game. I mean it is completely horrible I have found a couple of these, the first one boxed and now this one. Can't complain, paid a $1 for it Sooner or later I WILL find an Adventurevision at the swaps. I just know it I see you are still hesitant to try the Chuckwagon. I know you tried before with an item or two, but you really need to give it a chance Ian. I have many who have left Ebay cold turkey and are way ahead by doing so. Sooner or later you will come around
  7. I'll tell you why I don't sell on CTCC. Before I sell anything on eBay, I always offer it up for sale here, as I don't actually want to have to deal with eBay. After days or even weeks, if no one here wants it then I auction it off. Now why would I auction it off on a site who's primary users seem to be the same people who visit this site? If they didn't want it here they aren't going to want it there. I go to eBay because I get a whole new audience (of mostly mouth-breathers.) So instead of auctioning something off on CTCC I would always just offer it for sale here in the marketplace forum. Just my two pesos. Chris Hey Chris - It doesn't cost you anything to list so why not try it out. I think you would be very surprised. If everyone thought that way, then we wouldn't be having any activity and there is lots of activity and tremendous success. We are over 1,400 members made up from people here there and everywhere. Here is a thread on our forums which should erase your doubt to at least try it: http://www.chasingthechuckwagon.com/upload...isplay.php?f=17. We have had our share of people who share your same outlook, and then get prooved completely wrong after actually using it with some regularity and trying it out.

  9. It's just the standard Adventure we all know and love with all three levels, the easter egg, emulated perfectly. Accept you tilt the Ipod to move your square. It get's a little bit to get used to it but it works He does mention in his blog this could be the first a many games he will be porting over.
  10. I know Peter and was pleasantly surprised to see Adventure ported over to the Ipod Touch/Phone Game Applications. And best part , it's free. Great job Peter, now bring us a classic and updated version of Kaboom for the Ipod. That would be awesome. http://peterhirschberg.blogspot.com/2008/1...for-iphone.html
  11. Just got a call from our friends at Ebay - a gal that could barely read here script - wanting to tell me about how I can best promote my items during the holiday season. I asked why she was calling me as currently I can't even sell on Ebay any more due to a 4.0 ranking for shipping. She didn't have a clue what to say and after I said I was taking my business elsewhere asked if she could still email me the information, so that when I was able to sell again I could take advantage of their "holiday" promotion information. I am at a loss for words right now
  12. It actually works great. Just a bit of side art damage on the one side especially. The screen is huge - much different than playing it on my Lynx I've always love the chicks voice and the handclaps that accompany the game play. And it's cool how the sound of the tiles gets louder as they approach the end of the field. All in all a great Atari puzzler and I am glad to have it in the collection
  13. Got a good deal on this one locally and picked it up for $140. The buyer figured someone would convert it to play something else, but not while it's in my collection. I love when it says . . . It is the Nineties and there is time for KLAX. How cheesy is this. There is even an ad on the screen that displays while in attract mode to buy a KLAX shirt from Atari. This thing is tiny even compared to other minis. Fits nicely in the Garcade What do you guys think of this game?

  15. Aren't you still allowed to have free listing upgrades? This new deal doesn't include that... That is correct. Anyone who got in for the $50 can use listing enhancements free when listing your better or more expensive / rare items. Any free accounts that have been set up do not include that as they will still have to pay for these enhancements -- like homepage featured items, category featured items, bold titles, highlighted listings, etc. That should be enough reason to justify the $50 over the years. And most of our members who paid the $50 have already had that paid back to them in savings on all their auctions and are now using the site for free forever and ever These promotions are good not only to get new sellers but also new buyers to bid on everyones auctions and hopefully get your selling prices escalated a bit. So it should be a win-win for everyone It's all good
  16. We signed up nearly 100 members running the F Ebay promotion. Thanks to everyone here who registered. If you missed out on this, no worries, the costs to sell on the Chuckwagon are still considerably cheaper than Ebay so don't hesitate to register and try it out. I hope you all will attempt to list some items this holiday season as we will be doing lots to promote the site the next couple months.
  17. I am kicking back, listening to http://www.RetroArcadeRadio.com 's Sat Night Arcade Party and registering new members like its going out of style. I am running this same deal on about 5 other forums. God this feels good !

  19. Luckily I had some listings go up last week before they pulled this $hit so maybe if my buyers leave some feedback, I will get it back up again. I am really pissed though - and am more focused then ever to take a bite out of one of their most profitable categories - Video Games All Hail The Chuckwagon !
  20. Boy, they are going to make people come to the Chuckwagon in droves by pulling crap like this. So I go to list some items my wife wants me to sell - and I goto list a similar item and I get this from Ebay, and they won't let me list. ________________________________________________________________________________ ______________ You are currently restricted from listing new items because your detailed seller ratings (DSRs) are below the minimum performance standard for sellers. Sellers are required to maintain a rating of at least 4.1 on each DSR to sell on eBay. Sellers with one or more DSR below 4.1 will be restricted from listing until their DSRs improve. Additionally, sellers with one or more DSR below 4.3 may be subject to lowered standing in search results. Although you won't be able to list items as long as your DSRs are below 4.1, you will still be able to complete any open transactions, access your account, bid or purchase items, and communicate with your trading partners. Please note that sellers who are not in good standing are not allowed to register new accounts. Also, another existing eBay account cannot be used to avoid buying and selling restrictions or other policy consequences. You can find more information on the Seller Non-Performance Policy page or the FAQ page. Find out more information on how to improve your DSRs on the Seller Feedback page. ________________________________________________________________________________ _______________ I have freaking 100% Positive Feedback with over 1200 feedbacks and a members since 1997. This is the first time I have received an email like this. I listed a lot of items last week and never got this notice. Unfreaking believeable! Here is a link to my Ebay feedback - I can't believe they are restricting me! F them up the A$$ ! http://myworld.ebay.com/chasethechuckwagon
