Yep, that is what I was looking for.I'm sure you're getting lots of suggestions, ideas, constructive criticism, etc; so I'll throw my 2 cents worth in.
1. Any possibility of adding a shipping calculator for USPS, UPS, and FedEx? This would be very useful when selling systems and package deals.
2. The bid increment schedule seems a bit too steep a progression to me. I'd be interested in hearing what others think
I'd suggest something a bit more like this:
up to $10 ==> .50 increment
up to $50 ==> 1.00 increment
up to $250 ==> 2.00 increment
up to $500 ==> 5.00 increment
up to $1000 ==> 10.00 increment
up to $2500 ==> 25.00 increment
up to $5000 ==> 50.00 increment
up to $10,000 ==> 100 increment
over 10,000 ==> 250 increment
As I said, this is just my 2 cents and probably worth every penny.
I'm really optimistic about the site and am really looking forward to a lot more buying and selling!
I am going to bring this suggestion over to the Chuckwagon forums as well and see what the consensus is. I would be willing to change it based on the majority rule

What do you all have to say about this?

hmmm It shows 11 Xbox games, but none show up. Strange..That is strange? I am the Chuckwagon owner and am looking into this. First time I have seen this problem. Thanks for bringing to my attention

I was going to post this in the Chuck forum. There is need for a catagory # list (each catagory has a number).
When I did the bulk upload for the Odyssey II items, I guessed at the catagory # based on their being hundreds. But Odyseey II was actually a sub catagory of Odyssey and was a fifty. So the eleven items went into the Xbox catagory. They were manually edited for the correct catagory, but the qty for Xbox never changed back to zero. It's a little glitch in the system I guess. (Does this make me a beta tester?)

I am working with my developer on this issue this week. I am seeing if we can get it modified.
I believe this issue has been fixed. Anyone that wants to use the bulk uploader needs to email me to get a complete listing of category #'s. Then you should be good to go.

Well, I've made my first purchases and have my first bid on one of my auctions! I'm happy as a clam!Mike,
Love the site. So easy to use as a buyer and seller both!
One thing I am curious about, what are the breaks for the bid increments.
Looks like they start at .50 increments and must go up fairly steeply. My auction with the bid is at 30.00 and the next bid is 32.00.
I don't know if this is good or bad, but I noticed it was a steeper slope than (that other site).
I searched the CTCW site, but couldn't find a chart that showed the progression. Can you post it here? Thanks, Dave aka oldgames
Hasn't come up before, but good questions. Here is the breakdown:
$.5 up to $5.00
$1.00 up to $10.00
$2.00 up to $50.00
$3.00 up to $100.00
$4.00 up to $200.00
$5.00 up to $400.00
$10.00 up to $500.00
$25.00 up to $1000.00
$50.00 up to $2000.00
$100.00 up to $5000.00
$250.00 up to $10,000.00
$500.00 up to $10,000.00 +
Hope that answers your question

So Cal Mike

Ya, agreed. A most excellant game. I have a real Williams Taxi in my personal collection, but love playing it on the Wii almost as much. The ball physics are incredible and the smart camera is the best. Definitely a great buy for anyone who grew up playing some of these machines. A real no-brainer purchase

I recently uncovered a small stock of Halloween game carts with Pleasant Valley Video labels. These have been sitting in our inventory since 1998. The game carts were originally acquired from Wizard Video Games by Pleasant Valley Video who attached the handwritten 'Halloween' labels to the carts. Some of the stock made to out to video game dealer Renny Mitchel in Phoenix, Arizona. Collector/Dealer/Publisher JerryG purchased them from Renny in the early 1990's and we eventually received them from Jerry in 1998.We have a limited stock on hand at $44.95ea + shipping.
Halloween, Wizard Video, Cartridge only with handwritten label

Is there a reason the link you give says Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

Well, I can hardly say I took a chance on this one as it only cost me $75 and was local, but I bought an Arch Rivals and holy crap its a great game. I don't remember playing at all when it was out, but my wife and love it -- probably one of my favorite games I have owned and I've owned a lot.
Super easy to play and anyone can play it and actually compete. Super game in my opinion. And the cab and bezel and control panel artwork is classic. Brian Colin at his best !!

I just wonder if anyone here knows people that buy these maybe i can contact them anyways or what I should even want out of it dollar wise.
thanks for any help you may give in advance
I'd be interested in it. Just sent you a PM

I introduced two more locals to the chuckwagon today, and actually bought some stuff for him (got reimbursed). I also sent callistoo (an ebay seller) a tip on going to the chuckwagon, Mike, and hopefully I won't get reported for it
They didn't seem too offended, said they'd check it out. Callistoo sells accessories and stuff like that. I registered on the forum, Mike, but haven't posted anything yet. I'll go now.

Cool. Thanks for spreading the word. We are inching ever closer to 500 members. Sitting at 486 as of this post on Sunday.

What format is this in? What do you want for it? Is this for real

$820 is either representative of shills or total idiots. Loose Select-A-Games have traditionally been $50-$125 items, depending on condition, etc. The carts are pretty uncommon esp with the overlays. Even boxed units have fetched only a 50%-100% premium. Boxed carts I'd anticipate having a wilder price variance just because you almost never see them.But thinking you'll get one for $25? That's pure optimism. I'd expect to pay $75 at least, and probably closer to $100.
Agreed. I found a boxed mint on a couple years ago and it sold for around $150 on eBay. It is a very disappointing system in my opinion. Def not worth what these people are paying. Something is fishy here.

AX - You are THE MAN ! Now, if all you other sellers post lots of things, maybe by months end we can get 600-800 auctions running.

We are getting a decent amount of traffic---if you guys are aware of Alexa.com and how it ranks websites, we are inching closer and closer to the top 100,000 websites in the world. We broke 1,000,000 in less than 3 months and daily averages have been fluctuating around 350,000 the lowest we've been to around 850,000. That is pretty amazing considering how short of time we have been online. And this is out of every website in the world.
Here is a link to try different websites you visit -- see where they rank and where the Chuckwagon ranks

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_...echuckwagon.com
It fluctuates daily but on average we are moving up !!

If I stop playing around on the forum and looking at complete 5200 games on eBay maybe I'd get some more listings on there today (more than my old eBay listings).Arg I can get lazy at times. I need a reward of some sort, a carrot on a string. I suppose getting paid is nice, but I just want to watch Star Trek and play around online today. Better than yelling at people I guess... ha ha.
AX
You are selling some of your games I think. How are the total item views looking?

Another satisfied customer! The chuckwagon is great no more ebay for me!Thanks for your post and support.
A member update - we are now up to 473 members since March 24th. And many of you have been purchasing the $50 Lifetime Seller Membership. I want to reiterate that all Lifetime Seller Members will be able to run completely free auctions for ever on the Chuckwagon. That means no fees whatsoever - no listing, no selling fees, no listing enhancement fees.
This offer will not be offered forever, and only (50) of them are being offered at this price. This is an opportunity for you sellers to lock in now and never have to pay to run auctions again. And with the site growing each day, this offer becomes just more and more valuable.
Also, we have had a couple new Ebay Power Sellers start selling on the Chuckwagon, and these are the good kind of power sellers, with quality items and reasonable prices. So be sure to check the site daily as you never know what you will find.
Thanks, again to all the AA members who have joined so far. And I hope to see more of you AAers step on board as the site continues to grow.

Dang. I think this is the most expensive Atari 5200 around. I about crapped when I saw it go for this much. It is nice though, but geesh. Proof once again the Chuckwagon is working

Have you considered using any other payment methods than paypal. I doubt eBay will ever suffer because they will always have their paypal cash-cow that makes money even from site transactions like yours.AX
Once the site grows a bit more I will secure our own merchant account. But for now Paypal is all I got. I know, it erks me too

PM'd yah.

Dang, very generous offer. Great boxes and some rare ones too

I'm done with eBay.This morning I had a two hour chat with eBay, they passed me around to five agents.
I don't know if I can control my buying, but I will no longer sell on their site.
I don't have to tell you all what they have done to ruin it, Feedback, DSR, prices, etc... they broke the camels back.
I'm going to give ChuckWagon a go, all in, minimum 250 listings for at least 30 days. I can't imagine that the sales are WORSE than eBay, because frankly, the 20% completion Ive been seeing on eBay is about as sad as it gets.
I asked them for a refund on current listings (99 of them) they refused, so I have to get my value and let them run out in the next day. After that look for me on Chuck.
AX
Music to my ears. I look forward to you on the Seller Side of things
You won't be disappointed with the results. -
Maybe the seller means "all 18" and "all 15" games are included in the auction.I know what he means -- my initial reaction was just one of amusement and I felt like sharing.
Ya, I always love the titles stating "Huge Lot" or something similar only to see a dozen games (or less)
What constitutes a huge auction lot in the minds of you AAers. I would consider at least 50 games to be bordering on huge, but closer to 100 fits the bill for me. -

We have also now just instituted a "Founder Group" which will get together monthly on the Chuckwagon forums to discuss improvements, member suggestions and also ways to continue to promote the Chuckwagon to new users. If you would be interested in being a part of this "Founder Team" than PM me here or at the Chuckwagon forums.
