      I gave the mini serious consideration but in the end I decided that the VICE emulator meets all of the needs that I really have for C64 stuff.  The mini's mostly just a pretty shell for VICE anyway.

    For only the 2nd time in my life I got a flu shot this year. My step-daughter told the family "No flu shot no baby visits" so I did it. For only the 2nd time in my life I have the flu... hmmm....

    Brought my 3DS to Pax West, but no street passes to be had. Yep, this thing's officially dead.

      There was a few years there where I took my 3DS with me everywhere I went just because of Street Passes.  It was fun and unlike any other video game experience ever before or since.  The Street Pass Plaza games were a great feature, as were collecting puzzle pieces.  I am a 50-something man now and probably too old for such things but I do actually kind of miss it now that it's gone.  RIP the 3DS; you were a good friend.

    How many letters do you have to type before your browser auto-completes "atariage.com"? I just type "a".

      I have homepage links on both PC and mobile for AtariAge (well, actually the forums) so I rarely actually type the term.  However, a single typed "a" automatically brings up almost nothing but other Atari related suggestions.  :)

    Any advantages to plopping down 30 bucks or so for Winzip or WinRAR instead of using something like 7-Zip for free?
