Same thing with my nephews (12 and 13). They say "it's not fair, you play these games since you were a kid". And I always mock them about their Xbox360 loading times...

I was looking for Sea Battle (not Air) manual and couldn't find it anywhere. Even googled it and nothing (only the Inty version). Do you know where I could find it? Thanks in advance.

Would you believe that I played Pac Man 4k yesterday for the first time? And I played for at least for one hour? It gets the vote for me.

I'd love to see a "gauntletization" of Dark Chambers. At least, a sprite update and make them move faster. Could the 2600 handle multiple foes?

Played it a lot yesterday. If you follow RT recomendations, it's a fun game to play. In the harder difficult, it's almost impossible to complete all the tasks to reach the escape ship (there always some thug robbing your items/carrying you to other places). Sure, it's not the best 2600 game, but also not the monstrosity people claim.

Does anybody knows any good RPG for the Apple II that works in 48k? I have a brazilian clone (CCE Exato), and my language card is being repaired, so I have only 48k to deal with. Thanks.

I can't believe I didn't notice this before. Joe, congratulations, it's an amazing creation!

Received mine yesterday. First, I liked the art on int. Then, the music on starting is really good. I also liked the sprites of the heroes. The scrolling has the limitations we already know, but I think you can get used to it (played with warrior till level 18). It's just me or is difficult to start a 2 player game? Because I have to start a single player, then use the 2 player joystick to select a hero and then hit the fire buton to start the player 2. One thing that I noticed is that the player 2 shot has the shape of a square, unlike the player 1. Also, sometimes the player shot dissapear. Haven't tried two player yet. To pause the game, you hit "pause", to resume, "start". Overall, I think it's a great work and would like to say thank you to Mean Hamster/Ziggystar.

Well, I'm updating this topic after a long time, but I think it's cool to know the conclusion of the questions posted. First, I've received the parts that I ordered from Best Electronics (it was cool, the motherboard came sealed in a plastic bag with a tag with atari logo in it), and then I replaced the original motherboard and power adapter. As Brad said, it worked just fine . Then, after a looong wait, I received the IC's that Zylon found could help my original motherboard (they came from China). After another waiting time (well, I was playing my new 5200...), I decided to give one more try at the original motherboard. So I removed the original IC and put the new one and... it worked! Too bad that after a few testing, it won't start again . But this time I noticed that the original power supply was abnormaly hot. Then I replaced it for the new one that came from Best, and it just worked again. So now I have a complete 5200 plus another working motherboard, just in case... Thanks for everybody and specifically Zylon, for help.

For me, Demon Attack and Dragon Fire are both #1. I still remember first time I saw Demon Attack and the awesomeness that the sound effects and graphics caused on me. And Dragon Fire is so adictive...

Oh my god! It's just awesome! And it's also portable!
