  1. What is that part of the brain called that when you think something that you probably shouldn't say at that moment, it says "Stop!!! Don't say that!"?

      A little more primitive answer, and not really answering the actual question, either.

      The act of listening to that part of your brain would be, I think, "Tact".

      I actually have too much of it, I think, when it comes to "bad" things, and not nearly enough when it comes to "silly" things.

      My Mother was the worst, haha, I used to describe her thinking as "It pops up, and it pops right out"!.

      Area 25 is along the way which has influence on your emotional response to such things. If you have serotonin issues to begin with this causes a problem.
