  1. I recently picked up some disks from the user group from New Hampshire but all but one disk seems to be unrecoverable. The disks bonded with the sleeve. The one disk I could recover seems to be a different brand. See attachment below. Hopefully somebody from this group comes forward one day which is partially why I am putting the post up. The user group is mentioned in a number of publications below. The disk image attached does not have any original programs on it. They are all 'borrowed' from magazines. My guess the rest of the disks are the same. The only unique thing about the disk is the DOS (DOS 2.0) is modified with the club name and disk number. https://archive.org/details/Official_Atari_Computer_Users_Groups_1982-12-01/page/n5/mode/2up?q="New+Hampshire+Atari+computer+club" https://archive.org/details/reportofreceipts831984nash/page/256/mode/2up?q="New+Hampshire+Atari+computer+club" https://archive.org/details/byte-magazine-1984-05/page/n485/mode/2up?q="New+Hampshire+Atari+computer+club" NACC_10.atr
  2. If you have any Hybrid Arts material, please consider scanning it.
  3. Hybrid Arts advertised their 8-bit programs in music magazines but not in Analog and Antic. I think this was a mistake. I will eventually post some of these ads from Electronic Musician. I put some of they issues up on archive.org but they got flagged and were taken down. I have another place for them and will point a link when they are up. I have been trying to archive the 8-bit Hybrid Arts programs for a while. I wish someone would take them and make Youtube videos of the programs in action.
  4. Another rare one. I got lucky (cheap) with this one. I have the two original disks for it which I will eventually get Kyrofluxed. https://archive.org/details/raos-zobian-controls Plus I scanned the manual for Broderbund's Operation Whirlwind. It did not have the map with it though. https://archive.org/details/operation-whirlwind-broderbund/page/n27/mode/2up
  5. Yes. I had know idea about this as well. Cool. There is a still in production 1/16 scale 1979 Pontiac Trans Am model that I wanted to build in a couple of different colors but they only give you two firebird decals (one blue and one gold I think.) Now I can scan the decals and change the colors and print them out in waterslide paper. Thanks, @Ghostie
  6. Manual scanned. https://archive.org/details/mini-office-ii-database-software/mode/2up
  7. I have been trying to find this manual to scan for years. Wasn't cheap. I had to get it from overseas. https://archive.org/details/mini-office-ii-database-software/mode/2up
  8. When will the 'I survived the 2022 Atariage forum upgrade.' t-shirts and bumper stickers be available and will they come in multiple colors?
  9. Can you take some pictures of the manuals and books?
  10. Two more issues scanned. One has a BASIC program with an assembly listing. https://archive.org/details/computer-shopper-jul-89-vol-9-no-7-atari-articles https://archive.org/details/computer-shopper-dec-87-vol-7-no-12-atari-articles/page/n1/mode/2up
  11. Yes. It's why I keep my drive cover off and plenty of q-tips and alcohol nearby.
  12. I copied a rare disk (both sides) today with a bunch of CRC errors and bad sectors with Disk Wizard II. It was from a magazine disk-serves from back in the day. They have small ads in the back of Antic. Most of the files are from magazines like Antic, Analog, Compute, etc., but there are some unique files on them. I was wondering if any one of you disk image wizards could try to recover any of them. 13. Can you make disk images of what you? Would love to see them.
  14. There are three errors in the listing in the article: Part 1, as published on Issue 41, Vol. 6 No. 8, June 1983. If you copy the listings and paste them into BASIC in an emulator, you can test the listings in all the articles easily.
  15. Some more manuals: The very early and rare 1979 Image Computer Products Strategy Pack I: https://archive.org/details/strategy-pack-i-image-computer-products A rare printer utility manual, Printer's Devil: https://archive.org/details/printers-devil-rtr-software Another rare database program, Micromod 2.4. This is the loading manual. The larger manual is on the disk: https://archive.org/details/micromod-2-4-help-manual-supplement-micromiser-software A non-water-marked scan of Synapes' Shamus: https://archive.org/details/shamus-synapse More to come, of course.
  16. I got this Charlie Parker manual from eBay recently: Music Major by Educational Software. https://archive.org/details/music-major-educational-software/mode/2up The prototype of the program and manual is here: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-music-tutor_33424.html
  17. Cool. I would love to get one of these and use it with my MidiMate and Atari 8-bit. Do you know if the MidiMate and the MidiMax are interchangeable with software?
  18. Thanks, Eric. Hopefully @www.atarimania.com can add these to the database soon. Allan
  19. Is this printed from a picture file or an SVG file?
  20. Although technically that is the APX release. The Atari main-line version was more advanced.
  21. A couple of more Tricky Tutorials. Tricky Tutorial #6: Sound and Music. Tricky Tutorial #3: Page Flipping.
  22. Some of my latest scans: Tricky Tutorials #1: Display Lists Synapse's Encounter Three File Fax manuals K Power's Logo Fun book
  23. If you have software, documents and memorabilia, it would be great to turn that into digital form. Having stuff in museums is great but also having it accessible to everyone on the Net is just as important. If you need help in archiving stuff, some of us Atari 8-bit archivists can help. I have been archiving Atari 8-bit documents for over a decade and have a number of scanners including an over-sized Epson-20000 that can scan 12 inch by 17 inch documents, boxes, etc. Allan
  24. Yes but just never got around to it. Plus there are differing opinions on the subject and it can get a little heated.
  25. If you are going to print it out on paper again and you want the best possible quality, yes. If you are just going to read it (use it) in digital form and don't want eye strain nor jaggie lines, than not so much. As screen tech gets better this may change as well, but for now 300 dpi seems to be fine for reading.
