  1. Here is a better quality scan of the manual. https://archive.org/details/bluechipjournal/Millionaire_Atari_Version_Blue_Chip_Software
  2. There was a british magazine called Games Computing that ran from January 1984 to March 1985. There are about six issues on Archive.org. Has anybody seen any PDFs of them any where else?
  3. I wish you would start up your own second adventure game you were starting many years ago. Those screen shots were so amazing looking.
  4. They are up next but I need a little break. I have a vacation coming up so I will do a bunch then.
  5. I have them all up on Archive.org now. I just didn't post here that I had posted the last of them. There was one issue I some how missed that was already up although that was true with a couple of other ones but I re-scanned those because the scans were not so great. The magazines are all packaged up. I just got to get to the post office. I will try to get there tomorrow morning. I will let you know when they are shipped. https://archive.org/details/@allan52
  6. Analog magazine's attempt to do Lock 'n Chase. http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-money-hungry_3469.html Allan
  7. I mean something that the 1400XL OS would detect as the internal 1400XL Votrax chip but have it on cartridge. Of course finding a Votrax SC-01 would be tricky. But you would have a better chance of finding a SC-01 than a 1400XL.
  8. Question for hardware people? Could a cartridge be developed that would take over the Votrax code since not many of us are going to get a 1400XL? I know it's not very useful but would be cool to have and play with.
  9. Not to be out down by @cx2k /John, (all in good fun) I am posting these disk images I came across in an eBay auction a while ago. I have not fully explored them but it looks like something Atari coin-op was using to track information. Let us know if you find anything interesting. The names of the disk images was the words on the disk labels. Atari_Coin_2.atr Atari_Coin_disk_3.atr Atari_Coin_Field_Test_8_12_83.atr Atari_Coin.atr
  10. Looking forward to the version that uses the Ultimate 1M.
  11. While you wait, is there anything else you did, Atari 8-bit wise, back-in-the-day, that you remember?
  12. I am offended! No. Just kidding. The problem is that only Archive.org employees can change that. For example, I just posted a bunch of Current Notes magazines. But they are not in their own collection. I do need to put in a request for an employee to do this. But it is a pain because I am adding new stuff all the time.
  13. Plus I posted the last of the 8-bit programs that were published in Start magazine once they stopped producing Antic. www.atariage.com/forums/topic/255586-start-magazine-a8-software-last-six-issues/
  14. Are you downloading stuff? I have uploaded tons of stuff on archive.org but the more places this stuff resides, the better. https://archive.org/details/@allan52
  15. Here are all ten issues that I have. All from 1984. Hopefully more show up one day. There really isn't much on the Net about them. Looks like they had a BBS as well. There are a number of Basic programs in there. Maybe somebody could try to OCR them. I scanned all the pages with listings at 600 DPI. Archive.zip
  16. Somebody want to make a short comparison video using an emulator and couple of examples?
  17. Sugarland, I added DOS 2.0 and the AUTORUN.SYS AMS player from the second disk you posted to your first disk. Just so people can loaded quickly and listen. Sugarland's keyed in songs (unsure about Entertainer) with AMS Player.atr
  18. There are a number of public domain/shareware collections that this program might be in. C & T , MWPDS, BELLCOM. Here is a Bellcom catalog: https://archive.org/details/bellcompublicdomainsharewarecatalog Many of the disk images are on archive.org as well.
  19. If the editor was included with the Swifty Software version of My First Alphabet we have a better chance of finding it. If it was only sold separately, the odds are a lot worse that we will ever find it. P.S. I included the standard Electronic Arts Command Summary Card scan with manual scan for Cut and Paste on Archive.org.
  20. Interesting fact is that the Swifty Software version of My First Alphabet includes a 'Graphics Editor for creating, editing and viewing your own custom drawings' in My First Alphabet. http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-my-first-alphabet_22419.html This program is mentioned in the manual of the Atari Program Exchange version but was not included with that one: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-my-first-alphabet_29828.html
  21. Just a bump in case anyone has come across any more Compute magazine disks.
  22. Oh great. Another Atari vs. Commodore thread. You can never have enough of those.
  23. I think I found the creator of UltraBasic and the games written in it. https://www.autoyas.com/US/Bloomsburg/143025549095759/Ultrabasic%2C-Inc. Allan
  24. I wish there was a Sys-check for the 1050 disk drive. Partially joking because I don't think that would be possible because the only I/O is the SIO port.
