  1. megamania is my favorite atari 2600 game. the graphics and sounds completely rock. plus you get to make up new names for the space objects like "goldfish" crackers instead of orange bowties, and "mint oreos" for objects 1 level 2.

my high score is only around 160,000. i guess i have lots of work cut out for me!

  2. yeah, it's great that you posted the photos.

you've help assuage our concerns. if you read

the other posts in this forum, you can see that

one quadrun auction was definitely fraudulent.

if you've never sold on ebay, fyi, reserve auctions

don't generally get many bids. but you obviously

need to protect your carts and not sell them for $1.

if they don't meet reserve and you relist them, i

suggest putting no reserve but a minimum bid of

whatever you require (eg, $200, $400, whatever).

  3. 1. the auction ended early. maybe the seller backed out of his fraudulent auction

    2. the winning bidder looks like a shill bidder, with 0 feedback before this auction.

    3. the seller left this suspicious feedback about the winning bidder.

Praise : Decided not to buy the game after all...But had good reason

  4. I found a toy and game dealer in my city that has vintage games, among many action figures, robots, etc. It was a great find.

He had a bunch of Atari 2600 carts and sold them each for $3 firm. The consoles were kind of pricey at $50 with 10 carts.

I picked up five carts rated scarce 3 or scarce+ 4. So that's pretty good, I guess. :) No shipping charges involved!

    Solar Fox

    Outer Space (with graphic label)

    Towering Inferno

    Racquetball

    Space Cavern

Maybe I'll find a 5-10 rarity cart on my next visit! 8)

  5. wow!  i wonder where the seller got the games.  obviously neither the seller nor the previous owner knew the value of quadrun...

Seller said he got 60 boxed Atari games for about $2 each at an estate auction. (I emailed him) He had no idea any of the games were particularly valuable.

wow again! my best find to date has been miner 2049er loose cartridge for $2.99 at a thrift store!

  6. I'm interested.  I recently acquired a boxed odyssey 3000 without the manual.  Maybe we could make a trade?

Sure. Do you have a list of 2600 cartridges you have for trade? Or do you want to make me an offer? Click "email" under my message and send me an email. Cheers, brett6400
