  1. I'd better start cleaning that stinky sticky goo out of my 1027 just in case this project comes to fruition.
  2. Yea, I agree, this was great. I'm already planning on stepping up my game next year! Thanks DZ! Bill
  3. Here is the lot I got: - A ton of snacks - 2600 Activision Tennis - 2600 Yars Revenge - An ET T-shirt - A mini arcade machine And a great card! Thanks Secret Santa! Regards Bill
  4. Oh and by the way, at the bottom of my latest blog post, you can find the following free items: - An Atari 8-bit 2017 Calendar - An Atari 8-bit poster - Two Atari 5200 posters Bill
  5. After misidentifying a previous package as my AA SS gift, it actually did come today from the North Pole ... or at least from our friendly neighbors to the north. I briefly opened the package and the first item I saw made me smile, a can of Maple Syrup. :-) The rest will have to wait for another week. Thanks SS! Bill
  6. Got my package today. I would have waited for Christmas, but it was unwrapped in a padded envelope. Thanks SS. My wife likes it as well! Edit: I've been watching these ghosts chase pac-man out of the corner of my eye 60 times an hour for the last few hours. I'm going to have nightmares tonight! Edit #2: I jumped the gun on saying I received my SS package. The Pac Man clock was actually sent to me by a co-worker ... the package didn't have any sender info on it and I just assumed it was my AA SS gift! Doh! :-) Bill
  7. I made a few revisions to the poster including: - A little kerning - Included the trak-ball controller - Updated the text It is available here. Bill
  8. I have no idea what this means! I'll do some research and figure it out. Thanks for the feedback. Bill
  9. The text comes from an Atari catalog, though I may have massaged it to make it fit the available space.
  10. The poster is free to download. If you want to print it, just upload the .png file to vistaprint.com or some other printer and have them print and mail it to you. Bill
  11. Believe me, I tried. I could not find a good Trak-ball image with a transparent background. If someone has one, send it along and I'll update it. Bill
  12. I created a 24x36 Atari 5200 poster, including screen shots of all the officially released games by Atari. Let me know what you think. http://www.langesite.com/download/atari5200-poster-v1.201.612.05.png Regards, Bill
  13. I had two 24x36 posters printed at Vistaprint. No copyright complaints from them. They arrived yesterday, though I haven't seen them yet as I'm currently traveling for work. My wife took the attached photo. It looks really big! Bill
  14. Not as of yet. I ordered one copy. They haven't cancelled my order or anything, so I'll just have to wait and see.
  15. If you want to get this poster printed, vistaprint.com is having a sale this weekend. Something like 50% off. Use code BESTDEALS for a 24x36 semi-gloss poster. Bill
  16. Easter Eggs: I hid my name and my initials in the poster. Can you find them? Also there is an Atari related Easter Egg as well.
  17. Having a service print one 24x36 poster is expensive ($25-$35). Having them print 100 posters is much more reasonable ($6-$7). But who wants to make the $700 investment, track orders, ship orders. Not me! I looked into it and thought about it.
  18. Check http://www.uprinting.com/
  19. I made the .png file for the 24 inch by 36 inch poster available on this blog post. Get it before the cease and desist! Bill
  20. I think I found a service were I could order 100 posters (100 lb gloss paper) for just under $10 a poster. Add in shipping tubes, end caps and shipping charges and it would be about $16 per for the first one and $10 for any additional (up to what could fit in a shipping tube). But I'm not sure I could find around 100 takers for the posters! :-) Also, I'm not sure a legit printing service would print posters with an Atari logo on it.
  21. In bulk quantities, 11x17 is about $2.00 each for printing, plus shipping tubes and shipping. 24x36 looks to be about $25 each just for printing. I'm going to do some more research to see if I can find a cheaper printing service. Bill
  22. I shared this over on the Atari 8-bit Computers group on Facebook and figured I should post it here as well. In an effort to learn how to create full-size (24x36) posters, I attempted to recreated this old Atari 800 poster with a modern look. I'm planning on having a 24x36 poster printed for myself and a handful of 11x17 copies as well. The 24x36 are kind of expensive, but the 11x17 are reasonably priced. I think it came out pretty nice. Let me know what you think? Bill
  23. Reach out to Scott Adams on FB. Maybe he has something. https://www.facebook.com/MScottAdams Bill
  24. These 15" monitor covers seem to be back in stock. I just purchased two more. There seems to be a few more left in stock. Bill
