  1. https://www.ebay.com/itm/314299648347?hash=item492db8095b:g:~KcAAOSwG5tjsNc2 Never seen a red Parker Bros game before- any info on what this may be?
  2. I think the guy at Video Game Exchange just goes on eBay, finds the highest buy-it-now price and then adds about 60% and that's his price for most items.
  3. I never get far with reasoning like that. People are quick to believe their old junk is gold. Even when you explain to them their old Combat or Zelda cartridge isn't worth the thousands they thought it was, they never believe you.
  4. Am I correct in assuming this store is no longer around?
  5. I am glad to see this gets a response about once a month. I wish there were more discussion here, in this forum. Maybe there isn't anything interesting to talk about regarding NECG?
  6. I don't know why Sudden Impact gets such glowing reviews. The guy is friendly, but his prices are much higher than Ebay. But just about every store in the area uses insane Ebay Buy-It-Nows for pricing, so I guess it is par for the course.
  7. I don't think this guy is even scamming. I think he is just trying to get back at someone by putting their (no it's not "there" or "they're") phone number in a blatantly fake auction.
  8. This used to be a semi-active forum. Now no one is here anymore. Why? This probably won't get a response.
  9. [ebay]310372024272[/ebay] only a day or so left on it.
  10. Here's the description of the NES top loader "The Nintendo Top Loading loads all the game cartridges thru the top loader due to which the faulty locking mechanisms are eliminated. The 7-pin controller connector of this NES White is backward compatible, so simply plug in all your old gaming accessories – even the Super Loader gun. This Nintendo gaming console plays all the US NES 8-bit Nintendo games; while the Nintendo Top Loading's slow and turbo functions presents nearly all genres of games. The AC adapter supplied with this NES White helps in consistent and stable electrical supply; while the AV cable lets you connect to your television and other system. Being extremely user-friendly, this Nintendo gaming console suits all age groups."
  11. Someone might have asked that much for it, but no one would have paid it. There was a time when this game was thought to be insanely rare, but I don't think it ever was worth that much. It was worth about $50 on ebay around 2002, but it seems to have gone down in value to about $30, when most other nes games have gone up in value.
  12. here it is again eBay Auction -- Item Number: 310333186316
  13. Smart sellers know that a buyer's feedback is the feedback he has LEFT not the feedback he has received. It tells you a lot more about who you are dealing with.
  14. I got this at a game store today. The cartridge seems to be coming apart on one side, so it is hard to fit it in a 2600. The game does work, see my crappy screenshot. Of course as soon as I touched the label it fell off(I dont know if I should try to reattach it?) Anybody have any more info on it?
  15. If you sell on ebay with auctions, then you are going to have deadbeats. Set your ebay to buy-it-now with immediate payment required. Then you will not have deadbeats.
  16. This was actually my buddy's auction. Someone came into the flea market where he sells with a Commadore 64 and a few games. He game the guy about $25 for the lot(which was a fair price). I was there when this happened and noticed this game in the box. I know nothing about C64, but figured from the looks of it, it had to be a rare game.
  17. It went waaay up in price. I guess there is some demand for this
  18. What is this, a dart board score counter? Any info on it? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 390290542778
  19. Indeed, all his stuff looks to be caked in a layer of dirt
  20. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 310250575230 what's up with this?
  21. Indeed. I don't think the $40,000 Stadium Events got paid for did it? You always hear people talking about how "someone sold their kidney on Ebay for $6 million!" but you never hear that it didn't actually get paid for.
  22. In fact, yes, this has worked with me on several occasions... Got an email from international bidder, checked their feedback, and opened the bidding to them, though I do require international bidders to agree that proof of mailing ends my obligation to them if they are unwilling to pay the (sadly exorbitant) fees for delivery confirmation. I feel bad charging someone more for shipping than an item is worth. (Though after one buyers pleas, I shipped an A800 to England, $40 for the system, $60 something shipping!) Buyers CANNOT have bad feedback, so you saying you've checked to make sure it is good is laughable
