Nobody knows? Oh well.

Some of the best games IMHO for the 2600 were the Imagic titles. Cosmic Ark (my personal favorite), Demon Attack and Atlantis are all fantastic.

Thanks A2A you're awesome. Now if some could just convert "Realm of Impossibility" to a 5200 that would be fantastic. That was one of the coolest games I remember playing on my friends 800XL back in the day.

Gotta say, Bradley's "Gold Dot" upgrade is WELL worth the money. (http://www.best-elec...ca.com/5200.htm)
The XL conversion games are fantastic. JUMPMAN JR forever! (. . . and GATEWAY TO APSHAI is an old friend I was happy to find again!).

Seriously you can play Jumpman JR on a 5200? Can you post the link to the XL conversions?
Thanks,

Sorry if this got asked before, I searched and didn't find. But what are the ranks in Adventure 2? I managed to get Chalice Master tonight on difficulty lvl 3 and wondered how high up that is. Still enjoying this game even years after it's release. I would totally love to see and purchase an Adventure 3.
Thanks,
Dave

That's funny. Looks like the guy used his foodsaver or something.

Don't forget the tinfoil trick dot trick. It's more work but it lasts longer and is nearly free. The ultimate way to go is replacing all the buttons with gold dot replacements from Best but that's a bit pricey.
Good luck!

If all else fails you could re-create it yourself!
If only I had the time. Perhaps someday when I retire. Thanks for the link though.

Good stuff, thanks guys.

PM sent for several carts.

Hi Bomber,
Yes I did see that and plan on picking it up. I'm just an adventure nut and want to play all varieties. I have the excellent 5200 version of Adventure 2 as well.
Thanks,

Hi Folks,
I'd like to play the Adventure 2 from the Flashback console on my Atari 2600 but is the only way to get it by purchasing a Flashback? I can't seem to find it any other way. I'd really like to get a copy of the cart as I assume getting a ROM is out of the question since it's still being sold.
Thanks,

to hell with paypal and the irs, robbing everyone. as if we dont pay enough paypal fees over the years and as if the government hasnt been mishandling money for decades. our country is in debt, what, billions of dollars?! LOL why keep giving them money, our government is a BAD investment. I dont fear them, i fear nothing. the only reason people pay this shit is fear.
most people are struggling bad right now myself included, good honest people. the government aint full of good honest people, neither is paypal, screw them and their 1099
ps - i got the 1099 too. gee, wonder what im going to do? LMFAO.
While I certainly share some of your sentiments, you could be made to pay alot more in fines and jail time for not reporting income or paying taxes. Be careful if that's what you choose to do.

Not a critique on the auction, but how can something be "sealed without shrinkwrap"?
You know, I thought the exact same thing. Only thing that came to mind was perhaps the boxes were taped during manufacturer?

Hi Folks,
I've found someone selling a CIB Atari 2600 4 switch system (woodgrain) with 9 common carts on craigslist for WAY too much money (at least I think so). Condition is important to me and everything in the pics (attached) does look very well cared for and in excellent condition but they're asking $300 which is not gonna happen. Since they're local and I'm looking to buy a system, I want to offer them a fair price but I don't have a really good feel for it. I'm thinking $75 to $100 tops which will probably insult them and I expect my email to go unanswered but I'll give it a try.
Opinions please and thanks.

The prices for Atari stuff on fleebay the last few years have gotten pretty crazy at times. Granted there is a lot of stuff in this auction but this by far takes the cake for the as far as asking price I've ever seen. Item number is 320669183978. Good luck to the seller, methinks he's gonna need it.

Nevermind, found this question addressed in an earlier thread. Sorry for duplicating the topic.

Can anyone tell me what homebrews the Deluxe Harmony Cart comes with (quoted below from the website)? Also will the Harmony work with a 5200 VCS adapter?
The deluxe edition includes a color printed manual, a USB-mini B cable, and a 2GB (or larger) SD card loaded with the programming software, drivers, online manual and homebrew games that you are encouraged to try such that you may one day purchase them from the AtariAge store.
Thanks,

There are a couple for sale on ebay right now. I still have mine but it's not for sale sorry. In the meantime, believe it or not there is a windows recreation of the game here:

Good luck in your quest!

I guess I'm one of the few people who actually likes the stock controllers. I've gotten used to centering them using hand movements. Replacing the rubber boots helps with that too.NP
The fact they don't self center does not bother me. Its the fire buttons that bother me. Its not just 5200 fire buttons tho. also 7800 and coleco and intellivision all kill my hands
I do understand where you're coming from. Until you get used to them they can be murder on the thumbs.

Why would people prefer the game with that crappy-looking standard font over something better? Not only does it look unpolished but it feels incredibly amateurish as well...--

Way to go slick! Keep comments like that coming and ruin it for everyone when the author just says screw it.

Recommend me an Atari 2600 game
