you know your probably right its the old video mod and it only works on most tv/lcd screens try doing the new mod video i never did the new one but im pretty sure it works on all screens but first try it on an older tv with av input...i did the old video mod and hooked it up to a vcr and it didnt work all i got was black heres a site that i think has a few video mods for the atari http://www.cheeptech.com/2600mods/2600mods.html#themods

ok everything looks good and the board your using pretty much looks like the one being used as an example on the benheck forums Do you have the video mod wired up like this? And are you getting any picture at all?

Yes i did, thank you this portable would be a good buy for you if your interested because it has a very organized board with great controls and a solid case all you need to do is add a screen and your set to go -

my camera was stolen and all i have is my sisters cellphone to take pictures with i don't want to get into how angry i am with my camera gone, it cost me the bad feedback for that ds cause it didn't show a cracked hinge but my past work is very good with portables there's 2 i have up on my freewebs site you could see http://www.freewebs.com/chris-koopa/apps/photos/ as for more pictures ill see if i could barrow my sisters cell again and gets some pics of it outside. the mighty power of the sun seems to help out with low quality cameras :update: i found my old pencam hope this helps

Yes. You can use a GG screen or a Nomad Screen but they are diffrent from eachother. The difference being that the GG uses a Digital signal and the Nomad uses an Analog (RGB) In order to use a GG you need a TV tuner no question about it unless you can somewhere on the board switch this to analog although i do not know the plausibility on this. straight from http://portablesofdoom.org/screens.php very informational -
