EASY, FAST AND BEST WAY TO HOOK UP A 2600 READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the picture mix up. Here's the address http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/740597...67_adapter1.jpg Tony -
Radio Shack has these adapters that will hook your Atari 2600 straight to the cable input on your t.v. You don't have to have the t.v./game switch box. The way mine plays is GREAT. I think the price is $1.99 or $2.99. I have one still in the package with the item #, but I can't find it, when I do I'll post it. These little adapters are worth their weight in gold (my personal opinion). It's at least worth a try for better picture and sound. Tony [ 12-03-2001: Message edited by: Alex ]

Ilove to find games in the box, what got me started was a few months ago I was walking around our flea market and saw 2 2600 games boxed. They were both sealed BurgerTime games. For $1.00 each I had to get them. The best find yet for me. Happy hunting, Tony

Thanks Pitbull, yes that's the ones I'm talking I'll start paying closer attention to the post descriptions. Tony

Are Mythicon games boxed and mint worth $20.00 each? I have some found and it looks like I'll have to bid at least that much to get them. I want them, but if I can find them cheaper, then I'll wait. PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Tony

Hi, I have bought from them before, great people and very helpful. I bought a MINT boxed(with a very little scuffing on bends or tears) with instruction Cosmic Swarm just a little while back. I thought they were redoing the site. Everyone needs to help keep this site open. Thanks, Tony

Does anyone know if the comic in the Sears Star Raiders Atari game is just like the one in the Atari made game? I need to know so I can find one. Thanks for any help, Tony

Hi Albert, I have to get a new scanner today. As soon as I can get it up and runnning I will send you some pictures. Tony

I was looking at the Tac-Scan info that is on this site, and it says that the box is a regular one. The one that I have is a gatefold. Did they make them with both boxes? Thanks, Tony

OK Alex, I'll be on the look out for the cart also. This is the first time that I've heard of this one. If there's one, I'll find it. Thanks and happy hunting, Tony

Hi all this is Tony. I have the Pole Position cart with the end label POSITN*. Let me know if you still need a scan and I'll try to get you one. I am having trouble with my scanner right now, but it should be fixed by this evening. [email protected]

Hi All I was wondering if all of Sega's games come in gatefold boxes? The only Sega game I have is Tac-Scan an it's a gatefold. I'm a big collector of gatefold's (Sears mainly), and I had this one for about 4 month's and just looked at it today. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

No, Tempest I didn't get the Brain games game. If I find one I'll let you know to see if you want it. The first one I find will be mine all mine HAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!! You can look me up on E-Bay with the user name godsey1. Hey Twit, if you get ready to sell your Dare Driver let me know, I was in a good bidding war for a boxed Dare Driver, but I got the short end of the stick. HAPPY HUNTING TO ALL

Hi again, This is Tony. I bought this Star Raiders complete game on E-Bay yesterday for $2.00 + $4.00 shipping and insurance. I hear most people on here complain about how high the prices on E-Bay are, but if you keep an eye on the auctions you can find some great deals. I am a BIG Sears collector, and I've found some great deals on boxed and gatefold boxed games on E-BAY. I not putting any of you down ( I am one of the people who bid way to high on alot of auctions, maybe I'm one of the "SUMGUYS" ?????????????) I just love the hunt for one of the hard to find games and get it cheap. Happy hunting to all. Tony

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody can tell me how hard it is to find a boxed complete Sears Star Raiders game. It has everything, cart and box, touch pad and box, and the main box that it all fits in. I know the guide on here has it at a 3, but this is the first one that I've seen. Thanks for any input, Tony

The soapy water and tooth brush sounds like a great way of cleaning. The baby oil took 3 1/2 days to get so I could pick it up without getting my hands oily. HA HA HA !!!! Thanks, Tony
-
Thanks for the idea's. I'll try them, I have to do something, the 2 working systems I have are pretty dirty. Tony
-
Thanks for the info INKY. As bad as the contacts look on the carts, I just thought that the port would need it also. OH WELL. The baby oil makes the case shine. If you have an old case laying around, try putting just a DAB on it rub it in good, wait a little while and rub it with a dry cloth. The biggest problem that I have found, is getting it out of the ribs( you know, the dust collectors on the 2600. Thanks again for the reply. Tony

Hi all, I have a question about cleaning the cartridge port on the 2600. This is the place where the cart goes. I have seen on a bunch of sites of how to clean the carts, but not this port. Has anyone cleaned their outer case with baby oil? I have a non-working system and tried this, so far it looks great, but some of the oil has not dried yet. I used a good bit, I'll try another and see how it turns out.
