  1. Would these books be still available by any chance?
  2. Yeah, I'm definitely in for a new one for a CC9900 sidecar. Mine never had the disk controller and I was just happy to get one fairly cheaply at all.
  3. There is a second plug on the front of the console
  4. Well after another hiatus, a new wave of nostalgia has hit and I fired up the 99/4A, the CF7+ and the cassette drive to transfer some of the tapes I got in a batch of stuff a few years ago and Iran into the same issue as Keith. And the CALL FILES(1) and NEW - in TI Basic did the trick. Anything over 23 or so blocks wouldn't fit. The work around wouldn't work in Extended Basic either, just TI Basic. Well it only took me a couple of hours plugging and unplugging, running around until I found this thread and I want to say a huge thanks to you Black Box.

  6. Can add my appreciation to the list as well. Cartridges and controller were VERY well packed and stuff was here very quickly. Highly recommended and will do business with again.
  7. Just got everything. Wow. I've never had stuff packed so well. Thanks again.

Funny thing is I had a Genesis 3 coming from eBay when I took that. I'll post an updated one when I get it. Thanks for the comment.
  9. Ha. I was going to say it was a long way to travel. And $7000 US? Holy hell. Hold on to that one. You'll be able to retire if you ever sell it.
  10. Here are my Genesii. I have the Majesco one coming in the mail and I'm pretty sure that's the last model I'll ever be able to get. LaserActive, TeraDrive just too expensive for me.

  13. I vividly recall poring over the Triton catalogs but we never ended buying very much for our TI after the first year. Just didn't have the disposable income back then. Still have must of them though and enjoy leafing through them now and then.
  14. Yeah, the guys who did the TI Invaders clone for the XBOX 360. I love the way it ramps up and drops all the cool power-ups.
  15. Alright I have made the plunge. All of you who are hemming and hawing over whether to go for it or not just buck up and send Rey the funds so he can get these babies rolling. I know not a single one of use will fail to be satisfied. Rock on Rey. Steve
  16. Well I initially formatted my 1TB WD My Passport with 32K allocation sectors and I noticed some significant slowdown in loading and occasionally in the first few games I tested but I re-formatted it with 64K and I only noticed a tiny bit of slowdown in opening cinematics in the same games I tested but the games play fine. I love this thing. Does it have an easy way to get to the menu where I can check what's on my VMU's? So far I've had a second DC hooked up to do it but I also discovered if I try to load a game that won't work with VGA it defaults back to the DC menu (the DC I am installing this on is modded for VGA). I was also wondering what format of ISO will work with this device? I had a Nero disk image and it wouldn't work. Just wondering.
  17. Put me on the list. I am in.
  18. I am in. I have a Samsung Ativ and spent many hours playing Parsec on the TI back in my youth
  19. I am in for 1, possibly 2, preferrably pre-assembled but kit form will be fine too.
  20. So, does anyone have a scanned copy of the CC-9900 manual they can post or share a link to? I have done some searching and all I can find is the CorComp 9900 disk controller card manual. It would be much appreciated. Thanks, Steve
  21. Barb, would you be able to post a link to your eBay store? I couldn't find you by your username
  22. Sounds to me like he doesn't know how to mount it in TI99DIR. lucifershalo, just right click on the volume you want to be dsk1 and themenu will aloow you to pick it as dsk1, same goes for 2 other volumes for dsk2 and dsk3. then put it in the nanopeb and fire up the TI. bazinga. yup, just as it shows in your post (i replied same time as you). So, when you fire up your TI, you need to run the command that tells you what files are on dsk1, I think it's vol or volume.
  23. lucifershalo and telengard, do either of you guys have the manual for the CF7+? There are instructions in there for the mounting of the drives. The CF7+ adds a few of it's own commands and they are very helpful. You use one of them, the Call Mount command, and it's very easy once you know the syntax.
