  1. Looks like the best clone yet 100% compatible. Im curious to see whats under the hood on this one generation nex claimed it wasnt a noac and it was yobo told the truth about noac but this one claims its running on the "real" hardware even if its not since there doesn't appear to be any compatibility issues good job on a great clone. My last thoughts on all clones with exception to the generation nex why are they all so damned ugly looking. Most looks like fisher price cassette players with cart slots.Generation nex is the only one with nice looking design even though its a piece of crap.
  2. nes finds local goodwill store mega man 1 - 6 carts only Double dragon 1 - 3 carts only Bubble Bobble part 2 cart and manual Guantlet gray cart version all for $11.50
  3. My thoughts on modern gaming. The graphics are great the story lines are more detailed but what it offers it lacks so much the game play for the most part to me anyways is boring I cant get into the games Im spending more time like In grand theft auto san andreas trying to peddle the bike or aim a gun or in some other games trying to walk trying to remember which button to hold down so an action can be preformed. I know I am a old fart and to the younger generation this isnt a problem but 6 buttons or less and some okay graphics (good for 20 years ago) and im happy as can be I like to be able to pick up a game play for an hour have fun and put it down rinse and repeat. So classic gaming all the way. Yeah it wasnt as pretty and you have big bulky cartridges but it was alot more fun at least to me it is.
  4. You would have thought they would have ported the nes version to the pc. I hope the programmer was fired for that piece of *&&^. Never thought Id ever see a crappy megaman game but this proved me so wrong.
  5. Just had a quick question I know my Nes Snes and Master system are all functioning correctly when plugged into the av slots on my new 50 inch flatscreen that I play the bulk of my games on but since it isnt compatible with light gun games I have a older tv I was going to use for the light gun games everytime I plug these consoles in the rf modulator (radio shack brand) it outputs in black and white checked the connections backwards and forwards and cant find the problem. Any thoughts.. Side note my ps2 when plugged into the rf modulator works perfectly no b&w issues.
  6. My most wanted 1.Goonies 1 (Pal retail) 2.SuperC early unedited run
  7. yet another reason not to buy stolen stuff video below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uG0NHtXxtMY
  8. I know that prototypes for the nes as well as marketing copies are worth a mint but where do mock ups stand in value by mock up for the game (meaning they did one run for a game so the publishers be it thq tradewest etc could see what their carts looked like before production) so we are talking about a plastic shell with cover art but no rom chips or boards
  9. I would have to say Jaws Unleashed for the ps2 & pc not a classic game but it flopped very hard and fyi dont know if all eb games are created equal but ebgames has it in their bargin bin for 1.99 in my neck of the woods in tn. If you can get past the really bad camera angles and sluggish controls its worth the 2 bucks
  10. "Bit rot" happens in EPROMs and PROMs, and is not a problem with mask ROMs. I was just mentioning "Bit rot" in general, not really referring to mask ROMs. Many of my legit Neo Geo MVS cartridges for example, have had a windowed EPROM or two. (I always cover any EPROMs) Anyway, nothing's everlasting. Wonka's everlasting Gobstoppers are BS Lies. Dont think classic gaming will ever go extinct now carts might become a thing of the past when the carts start dying off but with all the romdumps done for most consoles before 1995 -1978 after the trick would be finding a good donor cart to rewrite to eprom bit rot can happen but it takes along time around 21.7 years and the rom chips can be rewritten so around year 18 or so rewrite and it can last forever as far as the console aspect always have something around be it the original or a remake. But with the huge fan base on classic gaming and consoles I bet when lets say the 2600's originals are all dead or dying someone will reverse engineer the thing for a sparking new one (could say that already happened with the flashback 2 but no cart slot so no )
