Ok no problem guys I'll zip them up and get them up there for you. I'll post an update when it's done -
Do you have a news letter from an old TI user group?

I scanned a lot of Aussie TI Newsletters and magazines (TisHUG, Softex to name a few) for www.oldgamemags.com a few years ago, and I did some that I can't see on WHtech. I scanned them at high quality so they're too big to attach but if someone can message me with somewhere to upload them I'll gladly do it. -
Luckily I used Gmail as I'm not sure I'd have managed to save the confirmation email via other email clients or methods as I've had 2 different ISPs since then. For anyone else searching for theirs, try searching emails around October 1, 2010. I preordered as soon as I could so presumably most of the original preorders would have been from that time.

Hi there I'm also in Newcastle, and I have a fair bit of Atari stuff I've got 2 x 5200s (a 2 port and a 4 port) but I haven't turned them on for years now as I've lost the power supplies. I do have a heap of carts too that I can look through if you like. Also have a heap of VCS, 7800, Intellivision, Coleco, Commodore and lots more. I'm also a scanning contributor to www.oldgamemags.com so I have heaps of magazines. Give me a yell if you want to chat sometime - have you ever been a regular garage sale scrounger over the years? We've probably come across each other before if so!

I was #104 in the old preorder thread, still hoping to get onboard with this one

It depends on your TV. Check out my Atari NTSC vs PAL vs SECAM page to understand why. Just about any TV sold in Australia in the last 15 years will have no problem with NTSC or PAL, so it won't be that the tv will have problems. As per the site you linked, there can be differences in colours. Galaxian - I've got plenty of US carts and nearly all of them work fine in my PAL machines, so you shouldn't have any issues. You can import a US model if you really want 100% compatibility - and you can use your local AC adapter on the US model too.

Wow I didn't realize there was much interest in these. I have a Flash Advance Linker (parallel version) and 64meg Flash Advance cart thats been stuck in the bottom of a drawer for years. If someone's desperate for one PM me.

Chad, Your order page states that PayPal is not an option (disappointing since I used it to buy a CC2) What options do International buyers have for payment? -

I scored myself an Exidy Sorceror computer last weekend. Still in its original box with a service manual too. It also has some carts with it, but I haven't had a chance to go through them all Oh, and the price? 50 Aussie Cents (Thats about 40 US cents) -

I too would buy this without hesitation - can't wait for an actual release -
Ok, trying to keep this thread alive If anyone in Australia wants to trade, please email me your lists to [email protected] I have a largish box full of Atari doubles and would like to offload some of them. Some are loose, quite a few are boxed. There's also some boxed Intellivision stuff and a few Atari 7800 carts

Wow, count me in too, I really want one of these

Was this the Australian seller? If so, I do know him. PM me and I will see if I can chase him for you.

The Official "Thrift finds" Thread
flugle replied to Happy_Dude's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I got some nice finds last weekend: Sega Megadrive, MegaCD, 32x and about 10 games for $5 Aussie (I think thats about $3.50 US) at a local garage sale And an Amstrad CPC6128 with colour monitor for $10 at the recycling centre at the local tip -
Don't give up ! I have found 2 of them in my town (Newcastle). I saw them both at garage sales and when I saw the US power adapter with them I looked and couldn't believe it. I assume they were ether imported by eager gamers who couldn't wait for a local release. We also have a RAAF base up here, so maybe they were left here by Americans who were working up there. It's a bit of a mystery, but I'm not complaining

Last day For Rare Atari Items On EBAY [email protected]@K
flugle replied to junkyard_man's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
$20!!! Man you got ripped off. Aussie post is about the cheapest in the world. It costs $6.50 (about $3 US) to send a CD from here to the US.
