LAWLZ. One of the "rarities" in gaming, a chick, and guys cut her down and make fun of her. She did say "some of them can be considered rare, some of them not. It depends on the area you live in." Then when it came to the Atari games she just says "Here's just a handful of Atari games." So I understood that comment to be as "Here are just a random handful of atari games. they are not rare or special." Because she did not say anything about them being rare or hard to find like the other items she spoke about. And living in NM, I can say that there is definitely a lack of Atari games readily available. And when you do find them on Craig's list or at the flea market or garage sales - the people selling them think that they are made of gold and expect you to pay an outrageous amount for something that might not even work.

bump I just found a near mint gameboy color for a dollar. I need to replace the speaker. Anyone recommend a supplier or what type of speaker it is I need to replace?

Found a near mint condition Nintendo Game Boy Color (in purple, my fave) for a whole dollar. I just gotta repair the speaker. It looks as though something syruppy was spilled on/in it. That is why I said, near mint.

You have to make the little box. I do not know where you could buy the original Atari Video Music system. But that page I linked to shows you how to make it. So if you were to make it, I do not know if you would have to make the system PAL . Not necessarily; there's plenty of cheap stuff that's not very high in alcohol content. The "Proof" number tells how much alcohol is in it -- Proof = Percent Alcohol X 2, so pure alcohol would be 200 Proof. I had posted that assuming that they would read the label for the proof.

Just go to a liquor store and buy the cheapest alcohol like vodka or gin. The cheaper the alcohol, the higher the %.

Screw Lysol, water and Armor All! I just use my tongue! Tastes delicious! Just like chewing tinfoil. Yeah! I use a qtip and pure grain alcohol. It was a discovery I had made accidentally. It works far much better than isopropryl alcohol.

My husband plays Space Invaders and I rotate between Donkey Kong and ET. I really hate ET, but have been trying to beat my high score.
