  1. It was $11.41, to be exact. That includes shipping. And, I have the gameshark utility program, the one from goldeneye forever.. What I need to know NOW, is whether or not I can access the gameshark through serial only, and not have to have it power on normally with my N64. Because it won't count down the numbers like it is supposed to. I changed the keycodes, and it is locked to the wrong game. Can I fix this with my new cable and the software?

  2. Well I ordered my cable that I needed. It should be on its way. I ordered from www.mycablemart.com. Thanks guys for all your help! Now the question is, how do I get the cable to interact with my Gameshark? Will it automatically detect it when I plug it in, reading the gameshark through the cable, from that program that is on the www.goldeneyeforever.com site? The one for using gameshark, that is.

  3. There were some canceled games, but usually they were no where near complete.

We were working on Rollerball when the remake of the movie came out. It actually was pretty close to complete before MGM pulled the plug on it.

    You worked for Nintendo?

  4. Well, Thanks. I tried researching gameshark serial port, to find out what it uses. That search was fruitless. The main question, what do YOU think gameshark would use logically. I need to be able to read it into my computer. I am going to plug the cable into the PC through the serial printer port, and format my gameshark, or do what I need to fix it.

  5. Hi. I was looking for a cable that looks like this.

This is a parallel data transfer serial cable correct? Male and female I believe it is. I need this to reformat my gamesharks. The main question I have is, WHERE do I find cables like these nowadays? I wonder if stores like radio shack may have them? I know that there is the internet too, as an option, but I'd rather buy it in a store. What stores do you guys think would carry these?

  6. And the DS, well I already have DS Organize on that which I use for writing, but it takes a long time to type one letter at a time with a touchscreen. DS emulates the SNES fairly well, and it emulates the NES perfectly in my opinion. Game Boy Color runs great too.

  7. There's a keyboard for PSP?!?!? That would be perfect! Thanks guys for your help, but I was disappointed to hear how poorly the N64 emulates things. I'll check into PSP. It's perfect for word processing, if it only had a keyboard. Big screen, the works. It's sweet.

  8. To be honest, it defeats my aim to have to depend upon a PC to emulate homebrew on my N64. I need a stand alone flashcart. To be honest, I'm willing enough to try to build one. If only knew HOW. Big dreams I know. Call me a fool.
