  1. My new Game SHark will help me bypass the annoying Peach intro for faster speedruns.
  2. Ah. Well mine must be that way. Both of mine have a sticker. Here I'll show them to you.
  3. Oh. Thanks. It works great for me though. Plus the display looks cool.
  4. GOOD NEWS! I GOT IT! I GOT IT WORKING! I had to put Donkey Kong 64 in. Now I have it working for almost all my games. And I have two working Gamesharks. Thanks guys! I could not have done it without that advice of trying different games!
  5. Ah thanks for the advice. I have tried this I hope it will work better. Does it need a game in it to power on? Or work? Get the menus up?
  6. Oh thank you. You guys are so helpful here. I think I'm gonna like it here.
  7. Why thank you for that complement! I try really hard to strive for the best times. I really DO hope you get to challenge me and don't put it off. I hardly ever get to race anyone. Thanks again!
  8. Man that sucks. That is exactly my problem. thanks for telling me. Maybe that's what's wrong with mine.
  9. Oh hope I didn't upset the order of things in the NES forum then.
  10. there's digital number that say 8 behind the little window. Mine is 3.3.
  11. Cool place! Are there competition for other consoles here, like N64? I know it says NES and I hope I wasn't rude by asking.
  12. OMG thank you soooo much! I hope these are them!
  13. What do you mean? I love competing with people. Do YOU want to challenge me? That would be awesome!
  14. Why thank you. But are there different version of Nintendo 64s?
  15. I have recently come into possession of a used Gameshark Pro version 3.3 for my N64(Nintendo 64) system. It seems to not be working. I don't know if this is useful info, but I exchanged the Gameshark for another one and the other one did not work either. I simply took the Gameshark, cleaned the bottom contacts with licensed N64 CleaningSolution, and then put it in my N64's game slot. I turned on my Nintendo 64, and nothing happened, except an "8" appearing on the Gameshark's display. I simply had a blank screen on the TV(It was on the right setup to get a picture from my N64), and nothing else. No Gameshark menu, nothing. Just the 8 on the Gameshark digital readout display. I am wondering if they released different versions of the Nintendo 64, and if I have a version that is not compatible with the Gameshark? Or are certain Gamesharks not compatible with other versions of N64s? PLEASE help me on this matter. I am desperate to get my Gameshark working. I have waited long to get my hands on one, and it seems disappointing for it not to work. I have never used the Gamesharks before. But I bought them used. Thank you. PLEASE help.
  16. I think I'll go through a practice run through Super Mario 64 again...
  17. As you may know, I am a very serious Nintendo 64 Super Mario 64 player. I play for world records and what not. I really enjoy it. I also race people for best star times, etc... I often like to hold a race, that I call the Super Mario 64 8-Star Race. It's simple. The rules are, be first to get 8 stars and beat Bowser In the Dark World in the least amount of time possible. I have run through this race on a 120 star file. Once with all doors open and then once with a new game file. I have timed the difference in times with a stopwatch, and have attained the knowledge that the time difference between the total race times with doors open versus closed is about 28 to 30 seconds. Which turned out to be the exact time difference I guessed it would be. I am willing to challenge anybody to the 8 star race. If you have an emulator OR an N64 with Super Mario 64, I will take you on happily. Though I prefer the real game on the N64 console, I take what I can get. I realize that many people do not have N64s anymore. If anyone wants to race me, post so here, or Post Mail(PM) me. I also have an email. Soon after I started racing for times and world records, I realized that it would benefit me greatly to keep track of best times, and to see how they stack up or compare to my previous best times. Anyways, here are my times, which are updated frequently. Thank you. ======================================== ================= 8 Star Race Records ================= 11:23 PM Tuesday, April 01, 2008/ 00:9:37 really 9:33 11:23 PM Tuesday, April 01, 2008/ 00:09:17:69 really 9:14 1:43 PM Wednesday, April 02, 2008/ 00:09:09:93 really 9:05 8 star race = 8:25:12 8 star race = 8:04:11 Wednesday, August 13th, 2008/8 star race = 7:30:85 Wednesday, August 13th, 2008/ 8 star race = 7:23:56 Thursday, August 21, 2008/ 8 Star Race = 7:04:03 Sunday, September 14, 2008/ 8 Star Race = 6:59:44 ================== 17 Star Speedrun Records ================== 17 star speed run = 29:03:53 17 star speedrun ending mark = 25:06:64 ============== Actual Star Marks ============== 8 star mark = 6:35:02 Beat Bowser mark = 8:35:29 ==========================================

A place to hopefully post my pics for my forum.
  20. Hi. I have not been here in awhile. Good to be back. Does anybody know where I can lay hold of the original Super Mario 64 music modules?(.XM, .MID, etc) You know the ones they used in the game, the original source files? I want to see just how different my remixes are from them. Thanks.
  21. That's interesting, but I don't think it really matters. Why not just spend some money getting the system repaired if it quits making contact? You wouldn't repair often.
