  1. A little weekend experiment. Maybe if I get some time in 2024 it could become a real project. Who knows? ... assuming anyone is interested, of course. Folks seem to be more interested in original titles these days.
  2. I have decided to make the rom for this game free. Merry Christmas! Thank you all for your continued support. BankPanic.rom Bank Panic instructions.pdf (For questions about CIB availability, please contact Intellivision Revolution.)
  3. Submitted an entry, but the list did not update. I did get a confirmation email though. Actually I think I submitted it twice for the same game, my bad. A few typos spotted on the list, in case there is still a chance to get to them: - Christmas Carol and Laser Sharks listed twice - Goofinuff should read Gooninuff - Antartic should read Antarctic - Pyramid Wars should read Pyramid Warp - Centipede .json Thanks for the initiative! A fun community tradition for sure.
  4. Dear Santa Rev As it gets colder this time of the year here in Tennessee, the opportunities to go outside and play outdoor Cornhole will be few and far between for me. Rather than spending a boring, Cornhole-less Winter with nothing else to do, I thought that having a copy of Amigo Cornhole would go a long way to help me stay sharp and get my much needed daily practice. That way when Spring comes I will be able to impress myself and my imaginary friends with my awesome skills. And it would be all thanks to you, Rev! Think about it. Thanks
  5. If you are running it with Jzintv, make sure to set a save game file as part of the parameters.
  6. Going from memory, but I think the game does record your progress. Unfortunately it still imposes a lot of backtracking. Whatā€™s really missing is a save state feature on the emulator itself. I believe Jzintv had it at one point (?) but it was removed (?). Either way, other games like Rick Dangerous really beg for save states.
  7. I think using the videos to the least extent possible is a good approach. Which is kind of bizarre for someone like me who owns a channel to say: ā€œI hope you donā€™t watch my videos too much.ā€ šŸ™‚ But that is true: Iā€™d hate to spoil anyoneā€™s fun. This game is too good to be spoiled.
  8. Per @opcodeā€™s previous comments: Goonies: A platforming adventure, an enhanced version of Gooninuff with ECS sound support, extra tunes, new opening animation, and tweaks. (No mention to C64 anywhereā€¦) Plus I think the quality of the physical production should be interesting.
  9. Then I would make sure you are not switching the bank the music is sitting in once it is being played.
  10. I'd say that is the best possible outcome from an event like PRGE. Renewed interest on the platform šŸ™‚
  11. Wasn't the AtariAge booth going to demonstrate Akalabeth? Any pictures?
  12. Thank you for the comment! Iā€™d say most of the roms from games I have worked on are either already freely available, or being sold through Intellivision Collector. Only exceptions are Infiltrator and Pandora, which are CIB only at the moment. I would consult with Elektronite on those. Finally, I did not make Intellivania but I fully agree that it looks (and plays) great. I believe the rom is again available at Intellivision collector.
  13. Are you looking for anything in particular? Iā€™m not selling roms directly anymore.
  14. @cmart604 @Rick Reynolds thanks for the coverage and generous comments about The Show Must Go On. The title of the game (and of the episode) seems to reflect quite nicely this moment of transition of the podcast. The effort you are both putting into the podcast is much appreciated. You guys are naturals and make it look so easy. Yet for sure there is a lot of work behind the scenes. Keep up the good work, and long live the podcast!
  15. Well done! Nothing spells happy ending like an atomic mushroom.
  16. @Taslim The game is not supposed to be easy to finish, but it was extensively tested - including double jumping mechanics - and can be finished with time to spare even on hard skill. Keep practicing and you will get there! PS.: about the short path issue, that's why there is an auto-map feature in this game. PSS.: which is not available on hard skill, so you will have to memorize the maze... hence hard skill.
  17. Well, I noticed they were using disconnected prop phones when playing the game, so mic volume wouldn't have helped much. But indeed, it was a missed opportunity.
  18. Sadly I don't think you are missing much from the audio. Mostly a bunch of bad jokes that had nothing to do with the historical context of TV Powww. At least they managed to uncover that one of the original presenters of TV Powww in Brazil was actually the same guy who played Bozo the Clown over there. Quite an earth-shaking discovery, I know. šŸ™‚
  19. Indeed it is blocked in the US. I was only able to watch it while traveling abroad.
