I understand people refusing to upgrade to this new (almost 1 year old) OS. But all the talk reminds me of people refusing to leave 3.11 to install Win95. Eventually, we all did and so will you. But lets get back to the topic. Anyone had the same problem with PCEAWIN? I mean, I can't get the joystick to work. And that is in WinXP and Win98 (have not tried it in any other).

Hello, I don't want to sound like I'm just against everyone. But Windows XP, not being perfect. Is the less bad of all windows. I install a lot of systems daily and There is no doubt in my mind that XP is faster, more stable, prettier and has more power. Of course some of the older programs may have problems, but none of the emulators I've tried. Maybe you do not remember of have not had the experience. But installing a new system with 98, 95, Me or even 2000 is a pain if you dont have ALL the correct and most recent drivers. XP does almost all, it even serches the internet if it does not have the drivers needed. Anyway. All I can say is that I run a lot of emus on my 2 XP computers (formatted with XP) and the only problem I have (which I can't say that it would be solved with other OS) is that I can't get the joystic to work on PCAWIN 2.6

Sorry to post this same thing twice. But nobody seems to know the answer. Is it working for someone? Not for me with different joysticks or different computers.

I have tried on different computers with different joysticks and PCAEWIN 2.6 does not allow me to use them. I find it difficult to think that it is a problem with my equipment. But also find it strange that not many people complaint about this. So it maight be something I am doing wrong or a patch I need to install. Please help!
