  1. Not sure why it posted the same message again. Will that website test the controller if you download the page and use it offline? Internet's not working lately. The funny thing is the disc automatically works and the buttons dont, when I run Guintv with Jzintv. I tested the player 2 controller today with the same result. I played a few games of Bump and Jump with the 2nd player controller and Jzintv by pressing shift to jump and the disc to steer.
  2. I tested the extra controller on an Intellivision and the wrong buttons made 1 and 2, I think I pressed 4 and 5. The disc and fire buttons worked. I tested the original controller on the emulator and no keypad buttons or fire buttons registered. The disc worked. I tested the extra controller on the emulator and got the values you see here on the left side keypad. 1, 4, and clear. The rest of the keypad and fire buttons did not register. I think the kbdhackfile is used for that. I dont know how to use it, it gave an error so far. It needs a .txt file thats a .cfg file. I cant save the .txt as .cfg.
  3. After many years of being an Atarian, I have only played Beauty & the Beast for the first time recently. I would say its one of the cream of the crop games of what I've played on Intellivision. So far, I could keep going back to Beauty & the Beast, Bump n Jump, and Astrosmash. What's not to like? Beauty & the Beast has Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman.

  5. Also rather wondering how to make kbdhackfile work on a mac. I have OSX 10.7.5 and Jzintv2018 with GUintv21. It recognizes the disc, but the side buttons don't work. The keypad buttons don't work, except that a few of them are interpreted as left or right disc directions.
  6. I watched your video on making a Flashback controller that allows simultaneous disc/button pressing. I would like to get a Flashback Intellivision controller adaptor to use a Flashback controller on an Intellivision II, and possibly one of these controllers you made in the video depending on the price. Tedious work, I almost feel guilty to order one! I actually came across a spare controller, but the front smaller frame is falling off. I put a rubber band on it temporarily. Any solutions for this type of problem?
  7. When will Galaga (Galagon) be available in the atariage store? Writing as of 12-05-19 here.
  8. So erase on the plastic sheet that covers over the contacts? That's not likely to rip the sheet?
  9. What would you suggest for buttons that don't work? They press down but nothing happens on screen on 3/4.
  10. Havent tried cleaning. Reversi (no label) works, Frogger works, Demon Attack, Beauty & the Beast, Microsurgeon, and I think Space Battle works. Havent tried Treasure of Tarmin. No go on Pitfall, Sea Battle, Auto Racing, Baseball, and Astrosmash. Black screen on all when powered. Astrosmash worked on Intellivision 1 last time I tried it before this thread.
  11. I had no trouble with the same set-up with an Intellivision II. Only about half of the cartridges work. Is that normal? 99% of my Atari cartridges work.
  12. I am using a gold plated coax cable and this screw-on rather than RF box.
  13. Is the ROM for FIGHTER COMMAND on here someplace? Great stuff!
  14. I found one! I hear the flashback controllers are the best, if you buy the adaptor so you can use on Intellivision II.
  15. I thought H.E.R.O. was one of the top 10 2600 games, so Hero for Intellivision could be an awesome game.
  16. I had it on channel 3 tv/intellivision and then changed it to channel 4 on the tv and and vcr. 4,4,4. On either setup of ch. 3 or 4 I got a weak black screen instead of static when powering on. Theres no LED to see if power is actually on. When tapping power button it did make the screen flicker. I think reset made a momentary flash, but never any title screen ir game visible. This tv only has a coax in on it, the intellivision only has rf, so no compisite involved here. It may have been a different crt tv last time. I dont know enough electronics to check for voltages or even less complex stuff than that. I tried channel search on tv and vcr with no channels found (analog) thinking with power on, the intellivision should be found as a channel. Worked with a 7800.
  17. I just dont want to fry it. Nobody's selling the original in these here parts?
