Had Atari taken up Nintendo, we'd have NES with keyboard and disk drive and no 7800 at all ever. Odds are SMS might have sold better.

More than likely the Atari management would have destroyed two companies instead of just one.

I'd always heard they might buy it and then tuck it away so they could release the 7800...But this was before anyone realized it would be a runaway success.
