Whoohoo! Hi guys, missed you too!!! I did post something in the Sega Age and Nintendo Age sites, but I'm not a member (yet) of Sega 16. Sorry, but I (well technically hubby) just won a one-of-a-kind Genny flash cart, so I need to break it in properly.

Hey everyone! Title says it all! Looking for a Sega Nomad modded with a newer LCD. Battery mod works too, but ultimately I'm more interested in the LCD screen. I also have a Nomad already, so if anyone does the mod, or knows someone who does, that works too!

Don't get too fired up over his trolling... Most of us who have had a chance to play these (I picked up 6 sets!) really do appreciate the time and effort that went into these games. The attention to detail from the Evolved modes right down to the packaging is absolutely wonderful. You guys did a fantastic job, and should be VERY proud of what you accomplished. It's a great nostalgic trip, and hopefully will get some of the younger crowd interested in their gaming roots!

You have NO idea how much I want this!!! If I had the money right now it would be sold! Last year after almost a decade of searching I actually won one, but the seller LITERALLY went crazy before shipping it and I got screwed.... he claimed something like he was selling everything to fund a project he was selling the government for a billion dollars... he was well known in the collector circle, and his feedback was 100% before I bid... then it all went to hell.

Yep there are 2 main reasons I want this unit: a) To use the Powerpak b) To play Akumajyou Densetsu (Jap Castlevania 3) with the additional sound channels As I understand it, when pumping Akumajyou Densetsu through the Powerpak, due to the mapper emulation, only the mod on the Toaster needs to be done to get the extra channels. However, the Toasters don't have A/V inputs, which I am now spoiled by. RF is just too nasty on my TV. Clones are no good either, as the Powerpak only works with real hardware. Hence, I am either looking for: a) an AV Famicom (extra channels and AV built in) I've got an NES>Famicom adapter, so I would make it work! b) an AV/Sound channel modded Toaster I'd be totally happy with either. And would be totally in debt to whomever could help me. someone make me an offer I can't refuse!

Hey everybody! I am looking for an A/V Famicom, the Japanese version of the NES 2 with the A/V inputs and extra sound channels only available in the Japanese systems. OR an NES, either regular or Top Loading, with both an A/V mod, and the mod to allow the extra audio channels. The A/V mod doesn't have to be stereo, but I definitely want the extra sound channels! (I am a Castlevania junkie!) If anyone has a spare they are looking to get rid of, or even know of anyone who can do the mod for me, I would appreciate it! (I own both a toaster and a Top Loader)

100% Positive. 2 rings AND said Stereo to Stereo on the box. How about you guys? Anyone gotten confirmed stereo? If so what did you use?

Hey were you able to confirm that this works? I picked up a stereo adapter to plug in a pair of normal headphones (i.e. ipod headphones) It still only plays mono, except now it only comes out of one speaker! Anyone able to get stereo out of this thing? If so I am all ears!

OK I was confused earlier and looking for the wrong item. I'm looking for the adapter that allows you to play USA NES games on Famicom hardware. Basically I can get a Famicom clone for dirt cheap, but I want to be able to use my NES games on it. Anyone got one or know where to find one?

Does anyone have a spare Famicom to NES converter cart? I know a lot of the first generation NES games had them included on the inside, but I have been unable to find any locally. If anyone has a spare I would GREATLY appreciate it. Chrissy
