I would do it - but my english isn't good enough for this HSC - all these different emulators and game variants...
I vote for a comeback of Vectorgamer or Deteacher!

For me the C64 was a natural progression, as less software was coming for the Atari and the C64 was riding high I went out and got one, yes loading was slow but I got myself DolphinDos which used a parallel cable and custom roms which made it much quicker than normal but like the happy it wasn't much use with protected software as a loader, it did have a 15 second copier which was great. Gfx wise the C64 always looked washed out compared to the Atari but its sprites made up for that loss. Sound was a mixed bunch, effects noises like explosions all sounded the same and were normally very muted while the music was something I did like but it took a while before the tunes were well thought out and not just using the on board chip filters just for the sake of it.
I enjoyed owning both and still play stuff on both as I do for my Amiga and numerous others machines , emulated or real.
As regarding the Atari vs the C64, I never really got in to the "mines better than yours" type arguments, I just got the C64 because the games were on it and the Atari was coming to the end of its active sales life, developers here in the UK just were not interested in it, preferring to just bring in US licenses of what were old games to the community.
The "washed out look" of the C64 games was the main reason that I loved my Atari VCS more than the Commodore- really!
But there was one game I loved "International Soccer".

And to be honest: I dont have the feeling it makes sense to discuss with you.
And yeah, its probably arrogant, but I do this thing in my free time and I am not enjoying the conversations with you, so it kind of spoils my freetime.
I would apologize for that.

I dont think its a good HSC game. Plain and simple. So I put better games in the voting.
And to be honest: I dont have the feeling it makes sense to discuss with you. I spent a lot of time in our Star Strike discussion and it was completely wasted time, because you never even considered that your opinion is wrong. You also not even participated once, so your wanted games do not really have a big priority. Its still not rejected because you suggested it, its really rejected because I think it would be a bad choice, but I dont see any point in bringing arguments to you.
And yeah, its probably arrogant, but I do this thing in my free time and I am not enjoying the conversations with you, so it kind of spoils my freetime.
Just my honest thoughts on that.
Is this for mr_me or Mister-VCS?
Yes, you run the HSC in your free time - but you need players for the HSC,,,otherwise you are King Ignorama without a kingdom.
Just make a poll which includes "Venture" and let the community decide- this is a major part of your moderating job.
-
If you want to lead the next season feel free to play venture. As I said, I do not really have that game in mind.
Your answer sounds a little arrogant - just like Mr. Intellivision George Plimpton!

INTELLIVISON: Venture and Tutankham (20 minutes each)

I dont consider it as a HSC game. So probably not too soon.
Why not? We played it in Season 2 (Game 1) as a was the moderator of this HSC. skill 4 should be a little challenge.
-
Venture just arrived in the mail- hope we play it soon in the HSC!

California Games (Atari 2600) - instead of countries you start for a company of your choice (e.g. CASIO).
