It looks and sounds like the original arcade-game - but the control with the NES-pad -nearly unplayable!
The VCS-version with the CX-40 is much more fun to play!

Maybe a 1986 or 1987 Atari CORP PAL-re-release? They don't have a "P" on the end label and the "P" label on the back could be fallen off.

For the longest time I was a fan of the Darth Vader...I thought the black made it look sleek and modern. But I was never a fan of the picture quality...Lots of ghosting. But I then got a heavy sixer which looks good too and the picture quality is so crisp and clean. So now my favorite is the heavy sixer.
Love my vader too - I have a PAL machine with good picture quality- not as good as my 6switch woody - but still good.

Phoenix isn't as great a game as Demon Attack, but I'm still having lots of fun playing it. I'm hoping to improve my score too, right after I clean the GIANT BIRD DROPPINGS off my laser turret (what do these things eat anyway?).
Demon Attack is a boring Phoenix clone.

I think I bought my PAL-copy in September 1989.

And the winner is: Fire Spinner
Fire Fighter, Fireworld, Fire Spinner,,, the 2600 has no luck with "fire games"!

Frogger Odyssey vs. Atari 2600
in Odyssey 2 / Videopac

The german-edition of "Retro-Gamer" gave the Videopac/O2-version a bad "mini-review" - in the latest issue of the magaizine is a readers letter from Austrian Vidopac-fan Dieter Koenig...
