I think it's a bit unfair to dismiss the entire Jagware release list as 'simpler than 2600'. There's some decent stuff from those guys.

Yes well thing is this thread started off a light-hearted make fun reviews of jaguar games, but CyranoJ made the mistake of choosing to review Battlesphere... then the Holy And Noble Defenders of the Jaguar Overseers Battalion Squadron moved in with full assault mode activated. Same old Jaguar forum shit that's all. It's all some people are good at when it comes to Jaguar, forget making games or playing games - it's all about how much of a cock you can be to some other prick on the internet. CyranoJ, I cannot believe how you do not understand. Here it is, a recipie for Pure Jag Powa: In order to make good Jaguar games you first need a PhD, preferably two. Then you LAY OFF THE 68K & use the GPU with main ram, because nobody ever made anything worth playing with 68k code & there is only 4k of local ram that bloatware pwns within a few hours of coding. Then get your musician & show him the door then find someone else who plays a classical instrument & discover the power of general midi. Now register some patents & you're almost there. Next, start coding your games! But not one at once, try 8 or 9 for maximum effect. Direct ports of existing 8bit games is preferred, maybe with some '3D for 3D's sake', maybe just move things on loader screens & death screens. & if anyone complains tell them it's Atari's fault for writing rubbish 3D routines & not your fault for not writing your own engine. OK, the next step can be time consuming, but it's essential. Register an account on AA & JSII & commence ranting on any or all of the above topics. Feel free to be insulting, make inane demands, ignore valid points, but most of all keep up the pressure - eg try posting 4 or 5 times in the same thread before anyone else has a chance to respond - this will help enforce your superiority. Now take some coding tricks someone else found out & pretend you were the one to discover them & make a big song & dance about how great you are for knowing this. After a while of not helping out other coders by giving this information out the pressure will begin to show. You will not be able to look credible while dangling 'your' carrot on that string for much longer. The trick now is to slowly trickle that information 'you' discovered in the form of a popquiz - this will ensure your superiority is fully recognised in the most public fashion. You can pretend it's for their own good, whereas really it's all about you stroking your own in front of all those lame arsed 68k monkeys who don't even deserve your time & effort basically. Simply posting this information in a programming forum will not give you the ego massage you deserve. The master plan is almost complete. You must now attempt to shit on anyone else who works on Jaguar, keep it really intense... maximum effect will yield good results such as making the platform really uninviting for new devs, especially those who do it for the fun of it & not for some pot of gold under that distant rainbow. I don't get on well with promotion or that dpaint clone ssb said about, I'd love a DegasElite+ for the PC - that would be the best thing ever.

It could be worth having some kind of sensitivity setting for these mouse games/utils. I use standard atari st mouse most of the time but sometimes & with some machines I have to use a trackball or replacement mouse & they are much more sensitive & twitchy - really not good for playing some games but very nice in high resolution apps.
