  1. Slightly improved my 8 Lap Challenge time 81,350
  2. NTSC 1 lap: Monaco 27,700 Namco 25,850 Datasoft 25,000 2 lap: Monaco 37,800 Namco 34,650 Datasoft 32,550 8 laps Datasoft 55,800
  3. That's a possibility I hadn't considered. I played Pal as a kid, maybe it's the NTSC factor that's the issue, should have got myself a Pal machine, but I found an 800xl for sale in Venezuela a few years ago in such good condition with lots of extras, I couldn't pass it up. Might consider doing a trade at some stage if the offer comes up. I find Boulderdash so hard to play on it too
  4. 64,590 NTSC I didn't manage to get a chance to play this weekend, but I got a few scores in the 60k region last weekend, I think this was the best of them I definitely prefer the 83 version I played as a kid, I'm pretty sure the gameplay was a lot easier, enemies are frustratingly difficult the kill/stun in this version. Fun challenge for sure though
  5. Thanks, I'll give them both a try with him. Should be no problem for him, he's got the hang of jumping attacks on 2 button games which is no mean feat for a little one
  6. I would say like most things it's mostly nurture with a sprinkle nature. My boy has been playing since he was 2. Started him with off with a very simple Barney game for toddlers, where you can't die or anything, just to get him used to the controller. By the time he was 3 he was a veteran ?
  7. My son took to Nibbler right away. He did really well first game, then by the 2nd game discovered/decided that crashing into his own tail was hilarious and the new objective, so that was the end of that. He decided we were moving on to something else he was done, so my score will have to wait ?
  8. Thanks! He's only 3 and a half, and he's crushing Snes and Megadrive games. The 8 bit games are so much harder than the 16 bit though. He's played some Miner 2049er, but even that is so hard (even for us adults). If anyone has any recommendations for Atari games for very little ones, I'd very much appreciate it. I'm actually off to pick him up now for an overnight, would be awesome to get him playing some Atari with his daddy Thanks in advance Dave
  9. Howdy all My first time ever playing Frogger, though I did have Preppie! as a kid which I loved. I think I'd have preferred Frogger to be honest, I can see why it's a classic. Terrifying gameplay, what more could you want? Anyway, here's me scores Fast - 16050 Slow - 32990
  10. Hey dudes and dudettes, hope you're keeping well It's been a while, but I've had a long and stressful court battle to gain overnight access to my little boy, and honestly just haven't felt like playing anything Thankfully it's all over (for now), and my little man has regular overnights with his daddy, and is one extremely happy child right now While he's with his mother, his daddy will be making time to play some old bad graphics games again I'll post scores for this round, and hopefully catch up on the rest soon enough Glad to be back! Dave
  11. Finally, I've actually played Tapper for the first time! It is a fun game Got to round 10 (I'ts a bit frantic isnt it?), and got the 3 soda cans Going to try The Goonies now! Edit: Goonies 3,800 - Level 4 I think, the one with the ball, the bell and the bats. I think this game is very like Zorro, though a little faster and a lot more dangerous. 12 year old me would have loved it for sure
