  1. can anybody take this binary and make the words "ms pac man" that appear after you lose the game say "E.T."? Hopefuly this game won't look just like a broken ms. pac-man cart by the time i'm done. ETdoneright.bin.BIN
  2. Sorry- Pigs in Space. Something Fancy.
  3. ferret75 has until July 5th to post what games he wants, or the contest is done.
  4. Here you go. settingsscreenshot.bmp Assuming you doctored the screen shot to remove your name from the path? Otherwise the path does look a bit off. If you've never used bB before or you've moved it, then you might want to check "add bB Environment Variable" and "Add bB Compiler to system Path". Most people forget to set those when they first install bB. -Jeff Yes. Problem solved.New problem. I've clicked compile, that was fine, i pressed run, and it said it could not locate vbbwizcode.bin or something. Anybody got an idea now? Probably because your code didn't compile successfully. Post the BAS file. I would have to check if spaces in the path to the bB compiler is a problem. I think vbB will automatically put quotes around, but to be safe you might want to use a path name without spaces to be safe. -Jeff Now what i don't understand is where the bin. file is going to. Is there a certain path i have to put in somewhere?

  6. 1.I put that gap there to hide my name. 2. I have a specific place for all atari games and programming things, and it's in that one folder. 3.As former sesame street fan, i could easily tell that is a big bird "One Of These Things" video without pressing play. Ha. I win that round.
  7. Here you go. settingsscreenshot.bmp
  8. i will sound pretty dumb here, but here it goes anyway- everytime i click "compile" in visual bB, it sends me back to the settings page where you pick the emulator, compiler, etc. Call me crazy, but i don't think i'm putting the right thing in the compiler box. I do have Stella in the emulator box though, so it can't be that. Tell me what i'm supposed to put in there, and if i need to download it, please give me a link. Thanks for reading!
  9. that shirt actually has the picture of one of those atari collection plug-right-into-your-tv things. I have one. on/off switch, reset, select, and other buttons. But still, they must agree that that is not the first, and that not ONE person there must have been an atari FAN, and not just a person trying to make money off of other atari fans. What a shame.
  10. that's it folks, it's all over. Our winner is Ferret75! Ferret, what games do you want? RESPOND SOON.
  11. winning? must've been another typo.
  12. does that mean it doesn't count? well anyway, 2 days left!
  13. well, just roms for your everyday emulator. i'm broke. sorry if you thought you'd be getting some huge box of cartridges.
  14. Rubik's Cube 3D is a prototype from 1982 from Atari that was never released. Now you get to create a label for it! Before you ask, this means nothing, it does not get put on a cartridge, it's just for fun, to see who is the best label creator. I don't really care about how big it is, just big enough that someone can see it. The artwork must have something to do with a rubik's cube. The title of the game can be 3D Atari Video Cube, Atari Video Cube 3D, 3D Rubik's Cube, or Rubik's Cube 3D. You can use labelmaker2600.com because it is an atari game. The winner gets 2 Activision Roms of their choice (unless of course i can't find them, then i will notify you), and the contest ends on June 20, 2008. Screenshots and the rom are right here, and remember, it ends June 20th!!! Have Fun! Here's a sample that i made:
  15. I bet they didn't test the games either. They probably only cared about making the money off of 2600 COMPATIBLE!!! cartridges.
  16. If anyone read about "Zellers", that canadian discount store that produced atari games for a while, you may have read about "farmer dan" a.k.a. "Gopher". Now I know their artwork was weird, but why would you use PLAQUE ATTACK artwork with gopher? Their circus atari artwork made sense, but this? Please post why you think they chose that artwork, or just to say I'm right.
  17. Midnight Magic. It looks and acts more like a pinball machine, has better graphics, and is challenging. Video pinball is great, but it is too easy, and a 2 year old could make a better screen.
  18. don't do that again! :!: I thought the site was down forever!
